SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Can anyone remember us ever going into the first game of the season having not spent a single penny on transfer fees?

I never believed we would go out and spend big money on one player, it simply isn’t Wenger’s style, but to have not spent anything is absolutely incredible!

or are you a wee bit bit less brave when not sat in front of a keyboard?

I'm not a Wenger fan, but whilst he's in charge, I wont slag him off in public.

sweetheart you're not my type
and you're a coward - if you'd already shouted that shizzle out in front of gooners
you wouldn't be repeating it. Pure keyboard warrior bravado.

Why not?

If any fans have the right to criticise their manager and team it those fans of that club.

highburyJD wrote:I absolutely agree we need a deeper squad because we may get injuries
there's no point in pretending they have already happened (just 1 missing from first XI)
or that the players we've shipped out were any use

I am happy that we got rid of the squad players my point is that we have not replaced them. If we have no replacements for our first 11 this will lead to injuries and wengers excuses of feeling jaded or a little bit physically drained. Who would you prefer to have on the bench gervino or a u21 who have been smashed by football league teams in recent weeks?

Just a bit of respect for our most successful manager.

personally I'd rather see Gnabry/Miyachi or Akpom than Gervinho
(and their total wages will be less than his!)

You accuse me of making 'death threats' those are Not death treats they are expressions of utter fustration ...but of course others who have made similar posts/comments saying he needs shooting etc you don't say feck all ...why? because you are a WUM

If I REALLY wated wnger dead do you think I would say so 'Publicly'...I do NOT wish the man dead I want him gone from our club though, but of course you are expert at taking somone's comments and using them to your own WUM Purposes. For the record if there is a coward on here its the WUM's of which you are Uno Numero.
