'Beaten' may be a bit of a overstatement but the banner was being removed for undercutting the team on the pitch. I told you other supporters would deal with this. Keep it outside the ground and express your opinion all you like. If your opinion is simply that 'he is a French *word censored*' then you get what whats coming. (In my day he likely would have left with fewer teeth and perhaps a pocket full of piss for his efforts, so in that regard we have come along a bit). These malcontents will be depicted as average Gooners wanting Wenger fired, representing the average supporter and that is not right.
"Apparently, the 16-year-old, whom was holding the 'Wengerout'banner, said, 'because he's a French c**t', when asked why he was holding it."
If so then I hope the young twat learned something about being a Gooner.

By that Patrice prat on that other forum. Thinks that it's you who did it McIt's a bunch of little twats from the Herd for the most part I have heard, that's all. I view the 'herd' as some teenagers and others that missed the 80's one of whom learned a tiny bit about life perhaps. The guy that confronted them said the kid 'fronted him up" and he cuffed him in anger. (17 year old not 16) One email I got said he was on twitter as mcdowell42.No subterfuge. lol

Re: Wenger Out Banner

The three or four guys behind me - the one with the bobble hat, the one with the green and white hat, the black guy with the scarf and the guy with the grey hat were giving me very dirty looks the whole match. I could fukin feel them looking daggers at me from behind.

Just before half time when some had left to get food etc and there was a bit of room beside me for them to walk right up to me and the guy on the right with the grey hat thought he'd act the hero. He came down and walked up, conveniently staying about 5 seats away from me, I turned and looked at him and thought "here we go". When he saw close up that I wasn't a kid or a pushover he mumbled something incoherent. I think it was - "That just doesn't do it for me", something stupid anyway, shrugged his shouders and walked back and continued to look daggers at me for the rest of the game. Poor guy.

Anyway, it was up 15 mins before kickoff and stayed up until about 10 mins after the final whistle. Every time the ball came near where I was I raised it hoping to get it on the TV. I have no doubt Wenger did see it.
Apart from the fools behind me the general vibe I got was - "meh", with about a half dozen making a point of saying "nice one" or "that banner is bang on"

Re: Wenger Out Banner
How surprising that the Wenger clones are not prepared to allow an alternative view to their own being aired. Seems like they are following the lead of the man himself who is now incapable of completing a post-match interview in a civilised way if the reporter even vaguely asks some searching questions about his tactics (sic), the teams performances or whether it is embarrassing to lose to a fourth division side. So a middle aged man hits a 17 year old kid – and then goes on Twitter to boat about it. Well done, he should be proud of himself. Total scum bag. I wonder if this knuckle head thinks it would be acceptable for someone to punch-out the guy with the “In Arsene We Trust” banner? Frankly many of us find that totally offensive. I despise what is happening to our Club - supported by so many people who are unable to separate support of Club with blind worship of Wenger. Well done to all who displayed the banner, it is a shame that you have to risk your own safety to do so.

Well done for today. Showed a lot of guts and hopefully your new anti-Wenger banner will help to keep the momentum going. The wording is spot on and frankly I cannot see how anyone could disagree with it. Great job.armchair supporter wrote:
