Villa match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

This *word censored* gets more delusional by the minute...

"on why money hasn't been spent…
I can return your question. Could we have won the game with the players that were on the pitch today? That's for me the real question. And I say yes. After that, if we do not spend the money, it's because we do not find the players. I'm not the only one to work on that. We are a team who work on that. We are ready to buy the players if we find that the players are good enough for us. That's all we can tell you."

Could we have won the game with the players that were on the pitch today? well no...considering they went through us like a hot knife through butter...

Why is this anus not in a straight jacket!!!

Spoke with true passion, basically how most of us feel, and nice to see fans applauding him too.

I wanna see this kinda passion at the AGM now. I'm sick of this pre-approved nicey nicey, mumbling under your breath nonsense. Fucking let em know how you feel, who cares if you get thrown out...

Well last year proved really hostile if I remember correctly. Hopefully this year they'll put them to the sword.

gutted at the result. as much as i want HIM gone, i always hate to see us lose.

ox and tr7 were the only bright spots for me. i saw nothing new from our side. feo was invisible and the lack of fluidity in our side is appalling.

the real bright spot on the day for me was the NBC coverage here in the U.S. As the game was over and the boos rang out the commentators were defending the fans for booing wenger. They talked about the tickets being the most expensive in europe, the lack of spending, the lack of results...us barely skating into the CL spots the last few years, i couldnt believe it. Loved it!

hang in there fellas, he'll be gone soon ...

Shape up, or get out. Now there's a fucking banner. Can we have a card display at the ground that says that? Tell the mugs that run the club that it will say we love wenger but when it's held up, it can say shape up or get out.

I've been biding my time, trying to look at this objectively and not say anything in the heat of the moment but 5 hours later I still find myself coming to the same conclusions.

Wenger must go NOW

I have no doubt that we will sign players before the end of the window but they will be in the £8-10m price range that will be just good enough to maybe preserve the status quo ie 4th place.

I could list all the things that were wrong with todays performance but seriously why bother? Its the same reasons every single year. The fact is that Arsene has been criminally negligent in his duties to improve our club so that he and the board can share in their own greed turning over massive profit to fleece the fans and line their pockets.
