As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Every member of the 23-man squad running down the touchline to celebrate every goal scored at every stage of a game.
Hey that's modern inclusive football you are talking about. Even the duds on the bench must feel included. I'm actually a bit offended that they have not let the coaching staff, the medical team, all the players wives and kids, and the respective country's ladies team, all run down the touchline to celebrate too tbh. Also I think each country should have a couple of representatives from each of their gay, Lesbian, transgender, black, white, Arab, Asian, and disabled communities sitting in the dugout so they too can run down the touchline and join in.
I find your comments offensive.
How is the disabled representative supposed to run anywhere?
He is probably thinking about the dublin disabled who are all "disabled" when it comes to claiming benefits, but a few hours later will be running around the dublin back streets thieving and dealing
Well yes some of them too.
And the culchie disabled too... you know the ones that have a monobrow covering their cross eyes and 6 toes on each hand because their father who is also technically their uncle and their brother just had to go and fuck all his daughters and nieces, and then the poor offspring is left in his wheelchair tied to a fence on the farm and they throw food to him twice a day.... you know those ones too.

A miracle by the Lord Jesus Christ or one of his representatives here on Earth?
On the subject of food......and drink, has anyone seen the survey the club have pushed out. Dear fan would you want to see any of the following foods made available at the bowl - healthy stuff, kosher, halal and/or vegan options with which to relieve you of your hard earned cash. Then they want to know whether you would stay after the game to buy their beer if they kept a few bars open and showed highlights of the Arsenal game and other matches - they even mentioned live music as an option . The cynic in me thinks it's the club after more cash but in the scheme of things this wouldn't raise that much extra revenue. I don't think the manure commercial boys will be too worried yet. Maybe the PR Dept have had a meeting and this is what they came up with. I know the NFL punters tend to do the social bit before their games but anyone know if they hang around afterwards?

IF there were some decent bars at the ground and the drinks were reasonably priced then I would be quite happy to get there early before a game.
HOWEVER they are not and the drinks are ridiculously overpriced so they can stuff it.
The new Sky "ad" that shows old B&W images of Football related stuff with modern equivilants does my head in,because the final montage shows fans from the past with their home made scarves, rattles etc,(but totally involved in the game),counter pointed with a hipster couple engrossed in taking a selfie, totally oblivious to whatever game that they have deprived two proper fans from attending.Sums it all up really, especially the fact that Sky thinks that this is acceptable. They are therefore bigger wankers than the "couple."
