I’ve been told the club are working away at 4 positions. A back up keeper, a defender who is versatile enough to cover right back and centre back, a midfielder and a striker. I think anyone we sign will likely be an opportunistic buy over a long term target… so filling those 4 areas is unlikely. The only area we could get away with missing out in is the keeper. The other areas are essential. If Wenger pulls off three moves, I think we’ll surprise people this year. The team is solid, it just needs familiarity. From there, form will follow.

Seriously you rate affelay so poorly that you would rather let him sign for the victims and for us to stick with Wally Walcott and the forehead gervinho ?? These two c**ts wouldn't get in a decent pub side FFS and should be shipped out with haste - if affelay isn't better than these clowns then he should consider giving up football altogether

Btw I also disagree with Legrove blog when he suggests that the back up keeper is the only position that we could survive without strengthening - mannone wasn't tested yesterday but if we have to depend on him or flaps this season for any period of time then we will be seriously seriously fcuked. I also feel that getting a first choice left back is more important than getting a back up right back

Moussa Dembele has PL experience.
He also has a buyout clause of £15 mil.

Would really like to see Dembele come in, looks absolute quality. Totally undaunted at OT.
