SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Please God, my wish list.

Flamini
J. Barton
Bob Wilson
that bloke who scores for fun on Hackney Marshes
Terry Venables

We got the cash to cover them, okay?

Lee Chapman
Willie Young
Glenn Helder

That should see us right.

Seriously, don't give him a penny to spend now, he's shot his bolt. Save all available transfer monies and wage allocations for a new manager.

Give it up FFS !

I do agree that There's Only One Arsene Wenger though
Steveo, I was sent a txt on Fri to say we are signing Rooney, I have no reason not to believe it.
I showed it to a few mates yesterday.
Hope it's true.

Even if they did sack him I'd still expect him to turn up in a fake nose & glasses and moustache and be announced as "Arthur Wendell, our new manager!"

Racist cannibal is a very good player. The fat granny shagger has been rubbish for ages.
The true tragedy: the only thing worse than signing those horrible arseholes
Is not signing them!

Chapman and Chapman up front would be fun. Two Lee Chapmans.....we've only got two Lee Chapmans (or is Chapmen ?)

The other thing of course is once competitions start clubs that are selling good players are themselves at massive risk of disenfranchising their supporters. Wenger has royally routed us.

Fuck new signings. The *word censored* in charge has made his bed, let him fucking lie in it. I hope they don't give him a penny to try and buy himself out of trouble.

"Name me a player who can improve us"

I can name dozens of managers who would be an improvement over you, lying senile fuckwit.

Chelsea's bench today is Essien, Mata, Schurrle, van Ginkel, Schwarzer, Lukaku and Ba. Not seen van Ginkel but if all 7 of those players were available to us I'd pick at least 5 in our starting line-up.

I'd much rather have Gnabry to call on......we've done a great job in the 'internal market' this Summer
