Re: SUMMER 2014 TRANSFER THREAD
Slow transfer news day for us so the BS is flowing from the Sunday rags..here's a list of today's pile of turd
1. Adrien Rabiot being spoken to by AW to persuade him to not join the chavs and come to us....Source.. The Express Bs rating...off the charts. This lot never get a rumour right.
2. We are still in for Schneiderlin source... The Mirror BS rating medium to high. Just the Saints trying to make the scum come up with the £27million he is over valued at.
3.Ancelotti's told us Khedira's not for sale. Source.. The Star. BS rating infinite and not just because the source is glorified toilet paper. Real will not let him walk out on them next season for free. If they have to flog him to a rival, they don't care. He is not walking out on a free. Whether or not we pay the now reduced fee and his stupid wage demands is anybody's guess.
4.Eto'o is trying to persuade AW into signing him as he believes the Frenchman wants him. Source The Sun on Sunday. BS rating low. Eto'o's agent has been touting him round every club like a pimp with his aging hooker, hoping someone will take a punt on has been f*nny. His wages are a p*sstake.
5.Arsenal Fc face competition for Eduardo Vargas signature from Valencia. Source.. the Star. BS... Despite the source, this player is off somewhere as he has been left off Napoli's champions league play off game squad list and the FSW has said he isn't injured. He is a one in 5 striker what the hell would be the point. We have enough average strikers without helping the Itais off load theirs.
6.Finally 1989's Kostas Manolas rumour above. Source..being Goal.com puts me right off but he's definitely off somewhere. The worry with him is that manure have bid for Benatia from Roma. If they are successful then I can see Manolas heading there to be first choice rather than back up for us.
That would be a shame because he is what we need and at 8-10M,he is sensibly priced. What we need is a very good win come Tuesday night to persuade AW to spend before it's too late. After yesterday, chances of a win big or otherwise are next to none.

No, this is what Wenger said: (On Pravda)VAVAVOOM 14 wrote:During his press conference Wenger stated Gnabry would not be going on loan.paulinohio wrote:I think Serge Gnabry should be sent out on loan, for part of the season. Hopefully there shouldn't be enough injuries to see him needed soon
He's still injured at the moment and we have to follow his progress. He needs competition and if nobody goes in the current squad [a loan] could happen. At the moment he's not fit and recovering from a knee inflammation. Even if he was fit, he would play for us.

The odds have narrowed - of you splurging all over keely brooks wamma's that isgreengooner wrote:There is about as much chance of Wenger splurging on Cavani as there is of me splurging all over Kelly Brooks t*tsnorthbank123 wrote:I'm trying to think if the idea of Wenger splurging over £50m on Cavani at 27 is more or less absurd than the rumours persisting about us being interested in Casillas after signing Ospina.

Ibrahimovoc has sustained an injury which - on 5live this morning - was said to be between 2 - 3 months, and if that is true, then there's no way PSG are gonna sell Cavani. - Not that wenger would ever buy him anyway..

Re: SUMMER 2014 TRANSFER THREAD
Hope you are right 1989.
Going to get interesting in the next few weeks. Schweinsteiger has picked up a meium to long term injury as well as Javi Martinez long term injury. I see them going for Vidal or the cheaper option of Khedira.
After watching Schneiderlin today, he isn't what we want, Wanyama is more what we need but he's just slightly better than Tiote.
The Rabiot story is being carried by other Mail now, probably nicked it off twitter.
Chilean TV reporting Eduardo Vargas will be a Gunner in a few days. They called the Sanchez deal so there might be an element of truth in it, I'm slightly underwhelmed. He is a 1 in 5. I'd rather have his club team mate Higgy

By the way 1989, the rumours about Manolas are BS. He is in Greece, apparently no offers have been made,no medical etc just some bored 12yr old scum fan keyboard warrior.

I always knew the little crunt would try and get his revenge somehow, seeing as his team will Always be in Our Shadow.

Re: SUMMER 2014 TRANSFER THREAD
I wonder when are we going to address our glaring defiencies?
We NEED a world class striker and world class holding mid
Giroud alone cannot do it
Sanchez is a winger
Arteta is too slow and getting slower with age
Rabiot has been touted, but at 19 y.o., can he be ou main CDM?
At this rate we will be struggling to earn the VT again
Seems Monalas is coming. Some good news there
Peace
