Krasic - I would love it if we signed him, he reminds me a bit of Rooney, in terms of power and energy

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GTKKgbERdOM

He did open Manure up a few times and you could tell thier defence was afraid of him

BTW check towards the end how he dominates Villa's whole Midfield

Update on Koscielny deal from younggunsblog.co.uk

This was posted 7.50pm Sunday evening, I wonder how the writer knew that Ivan Gazidis had upped the offer within the previous hour?

"Arsenal have withdrawn a potential ’sweetener’ in their hunt for Lorient centre back Laurent Koscielny. Arsène Wenger was willing to allow Francis Coquelin the option to join the Ligue One outfit on loan for the season, if chairman Loic Fery accepted their €8 million bid for Koscielny.

However, Fery has rejected the €8 million offer, and Arsenal have stopped talks over 18-year-old Coquelin’s potential loan move. The two deals were not connected, but the loan was seen as a ‘good will gesture’ between the two clubs. Now, Ivan Gazidis has upped the offer, to a straight cash €10 million bid in the last hour.

Full back Armand Traoré has also been linked as part of any deal for 24-year-old Koscielny, but no players will be included in any future offers."

Is this lad any good? Never seen or heard of him.

Perhaps Vincey can tell us a bit about him?

I can't help you because I've never really saw him play. What's for sure is Wenger wants him, Arsenal just offered 10M€ according to french press.

Fulham Keen To Sign Arsenal Outcast Philippe Senderos After The World Cup - Report

The Swiss is wanted by the Cottagers...

Arsenal centre-back Philippe Senderos could make a £3 million move to Fulham after representing Switzerland in the World Cup.

The 25-year-old is a key member of the Swiss squad that will face Spain, Honduras and Chile in Group H.

However, Senderos has failed to win over Gunners boss Arsene Wenger and could make a permanent move away from Arsenal this summer, according to The Mirror.

After making just two appearances for the Gunners this season, Senderos joined Everton in January but only appeared three times in a loan spells with the Toffees.

Fulham are in need of a centre-back after Chris Smalling moved to Manchester United this summer and the Cottagers are looking to sign Senderos after the World Cup.

With Mark Schwarzer rumoured to be a target for the Gunners, Senderos could be a part of a swap for the Australian international goalkeeper.

Senderos came to Arsenal in the winter of 2002 from Swiss club Servette and was believed to be destined for great things.

Gunners’ £8m bid for Laurent

ARSENE WENGER has made a fresh £8million bid for French centre-half Laurent Koscielny.
And it is a move that could spell the end of William Gallas' Arsenal career.

SunSport understands the Gunners boss has given Koscielny's club Lorient a deadline until Thursday to give a response after an initial £6m offer was rejected.

Wenger wants to conclude a deal before flying to the World Cup finals this week.

Koscielny, 24, has all but agreed a four-year deal and is desperate for the two clubs to do business.

According to wiki Laurent Koscielny is 6ft 1" which again is hardly the big dominating physical centre half that we need. I know TV5 isnt the biggest and certainly is physically tough but I would have thought cos he is only 5ft 11" or 6ft that it would have been all the more necessary to buy a big 6ft 2"+ centre half. It's funny cos I am always the one who rubbishes those who claim we need more british players cos as long as the players are good enough I dont care where they are from but for me centre half is the one exception to that rule.......I always feel that centre halves should be tough and physical and for the large part nowhere in the world makes tough and physical centre halves like the uk and Ireland.

I know it is probably bullshit (it is on wiki   ) but they suggest that Laurent Koscielny is looking for polish citizenship so he can play footie for poland.....wonder how long it will take training and playing alongside fabinski to change his mind on that one

Augie, are you saying that at 6'1" he is a short ass who we don't need....but if he was 1" bigger he'd be the best thing since extra cold guinness....?
