Don't get that a few people were annoyed that we wouldn't be able to sell him at the end of the year... isn't he out of contract at the end of year anyway?mcdowell42 wrote:Nicklas Bendtner likely to return to Arsenal next summer. Yes, but in the mean time we're still paying 75% of his wages (£50k a week)northbank123 wrote:Don't get that a few people were annoyed that we wouldn't be able to sell him at the end of the year... isn't he out of contract at the end of year anyway?mcdowell42 wrote:Nicklas Bendtner likely to return to Arsenal next summer. Re: The stinking shit transfer rumour thread
Only a few days after L’Equipe published an article in which they said that Arsenal were within touching distance of agreeing terms with Klaas-Jan Huntelaar, FC Shalke’s general manager Horst Heldt has rejected the rumours, branding them a “fairytale”.
Heldt told German football website Kicker: “[Huntelaar leaving] is just a rumour and a fairytale. There is no truth to the rumours linking with him with Arsenal.”
However, many bookies have already begun to slash the odds on Huntelaar to Arsenal. For example, Sky Bet has Huntelaar to Arsenal at 2/1.
In my opinion, l’Equipe is seen as a relatively reliable source on Arsenal transfer news. The French magazine was the first to start the Cazorla and Giroud rumours in the summer (before the English press)
