Some of the posts on this thread are embarrassing. On both sides of the Wenger fence.

Re: cesc the BLUE
I reckon this is all a smokescreen as we are saving up the pennies and using the extra £5m we get from the Fabregas deal to sign Neymar
Arsene knows best

Re: cesc the BLUE
Just another talented player who used to play for us. If he claims that he loves Arsenal as much as he does he certainly wouldn't go there, and if he is that much of a Catalan he wouldn't play for Mourinho who is despised in those parts (poking the former manager in the eye for starters) so just another footballer who talks a a lot of shit, with no real loyalty to anywhere, not a surprise really.
During his final season for us, his behaviour for a club captain was frankly unacceptable as well so was never even close to being a club hero/legend in my eyes. It isn't exactly Tony Adams going to manage Spurs.
He said in an interview a few years ago 'if I ever wear a Chelsea shirt you have permission to kill me' so good to see they have a player who really wants to play for them! What I will say however as we had first say on him, it really does put pressure on Wenger spend the money, can't have a summer like last summer where we brought a French postman before the season begun. If you told me that Fabregas would go to Chelsea and we'd gain a mobile striker and a ball winning midfielder I'd take that over Fabregas coming to Arsenal. However we all know this wont happen and we'll be tearing our hair out on another missed opportunity come the start of the season.

We're gonna spend big this summer mate don't you worry. Two strikers and a DM, as well as a RB will come in - all players that we actually NEED.This Is The Daybreak wrote:Just another talented player who used to play for us. Re: cesc the BLUE
Good for Chelsea.
Not great for us.
I do think we have to see what Wenger's reasoning is on this though...as much as I was really keen to re-sign Cesc there has to be something behind this. After all, Cesc was the player that Wenger built his team around and he was definitely not a player we got rid of to raise cash such as Toure, Song, Van Persie etc, the club wanted him to stay.

Everyone seem to be forgetting that we have a new Abou for next season. Effectively a 'free' 50m player
Mock away but watch this fella hitting his peak years tear up the PL this season

Fucking hurts like hell to see him in that shirt and to think of him playing for them..regardless of who is to blame.
Re: cesc the BLUE
Idiocy and being too stubborn to want someone back that previously wanted out?QuartzGooner wrote:Good for Chelsea.

Oscar-Matic-Cesc-Hazard
when we play them again people will quickly realise that our midfield is not that great, and they will pass rings around us.

anyone burning his shirt is a dick, end of.
we have caz and ozil.
we made a nice profit from Cesc - but what did we win with him?
As Jens said, it was a mistake to build a team around him with the tikka taka style instead of our previous lightning attack style.
I wish him well. but i hope he wins nothing with the chavs ha ha.

We have Ozil, Ramsey, Walcott, Cazorla, Chamberlain, and Wilshere; I don't envy them at all.Supagoon wrote:Oscar-Matic-Cesc-Hazard

I wouldn't swap Ramsey or Ozil for any of their players - the only thing they have over us in that area is the possession of a true, solid DM: Matic.
Re: [POLL] Should we buy back Cesc Fabregas?
Well don't want to say I told u so but ..................I told you so .
His going to them is bad ,but its the thought that we made no attempt to get him back says everything you need to know about Arsenal football clubs ambitions or rather the lack of them and the EGO of the man in charge !
Cesc challenged then embarrassed Wenger and that he will not forgive !

Re: [POLL] Should we buy back Cesc Fabregas?
Another betrayal by this detestable loathesome manager.
After handing utd the title two seasons ago, he has now I believe more or less done the same for the chavs. Both teams managed by men who have supposedly been his "nemesis"
Wenker must realise how the fans will feel about this, but he doesn't give a flying fuck, not even a proper explanation, no he is too busy with lady boys in Brazil.

He hasn't made out Wenger didn't want him back at all. That's just bollocks!
If Wenger had wanted him he would have got him.
As it is he's signed for a club that now has a much higher chance of winning trophies. Rather than stone the bastard why don't you focus your efforts on stoning the fucking dickhead that didn't want to sign him!
