As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I get the feeling the focus is shifting onto Kroenke now because #WengerOut is such a toxic and divisive topic. This will please a lot of people, including Wenger but its not for me mate. I'll happily go for Kroenke but right now shifting onto him will fall right into Wengers hands. Confuse, distract, dilute, deflect. It becomes meaningless.
The clarity I have on this is so strong. I honestly know Im right on this one. Wenger will love it if everyone starts blaming SK. I can just picture the smug look on his face when he defends him in interviews, secretly thinking "phew, they're leaving me alone, thank fuck for that" Teflon Wenger off the hook again.
You're dead right. All effort should be on Wenger, not Kroenke.
I still believe Kroenke is ultimately to blame because it's his club and he chooses his employees and who he gives a lovely new £8m a year contract to but we can't realistically expect to get rid of Stan by chanting and booing in the stadium. He never attends and has zero interest.
Wenger is absolutely the one to focus on so I agree with your concerns.

More comfortable with that prospect than an as yet un-known owner coming in and Wenger staying, continuing his reign indefinitely.
Or maybe the new owner will eventually get rid of Wenger and the question will be.....
"Everyone comfortable with new owner and Ivans ability to find the next manager?"

A new owner would more than likely get rid of Gazidis - normally the 'money man' appoints one from his own stable. I want Wenger out as much as the next man but we're more than likely to get him "moving upstairs" under the current regime because neither of those two jokers have got a fucking Scooby who to turn to next.....which is why they bottle out of doing it every time. A new contract will be offered to Wenker under this regime.....I have absolutely no doubt about that.

nope, not at all. But whilst there's zero chance of forcing Kroenke out, there is at least a 0.001% chance of Wenger walking away if the fans anger continues to worsen so better to focus all attention on Wenger for the reasons armchair gives above.

Just seems a long and convoluted way of improving our performances by going after someone thousands of miles away who has zero impact on performance.
Calling for a new owner, hoping Stan Kroenke will leave, hoping a new owner comes in quickly, hoping tne new owner sacks Wenger and then hoping the new owner/CEO appoints the right man?
That would take forever and meanwhile Teflon Wenger is still harming us with his arrogance and stubbornness and incompetence.

I just don't believe that the 'banner movement' will last much more than the next couple of games. Qualify for the top four and finish above the Spuds and all will be forgotten. I don't give a shit how much flak we keep giving Wenger - by all means take any banner possible and turn up the heat to the max - I just don't think Kroenke will replace him on the back of it

Well he won't. That's certain.
The only hope is Wenger decides that him staying is having a negative impact on the club and decides to walk away at the end of his contract.

As opposed to Wenger sharing exactly the same philosophy as him over how to run a 'sports franchise' prudently, settling for mediocrity and a pressure free existence, and happily trousering another £8m a year for 2-3 more years you mean ?
The anti-Wenger banners are not for Kroenke to notice. They' re to build pressure on Wenger via the media.
His massive ego and arrogance (hopefully) will not allow him to be scrutinised and questioned in a sustained, meaningful way. Look how he reacts when one or two "difficult" questions are posed. Imagine his meltdown if he was put under even half the pressure LVG gets.
I want him to say "fuck you all you ungrateful plebs" and leave this season or ride it out until his contract expires and go then. My only fear is that he moves to another role within the club, a job created just for him. I have to say that is a worry.

LVG, Mourinho, Wenger, Fergie - they've all had the media question them over the years, they've all arrogantly dismissed journos who dare to question them......Sir Rednose even used to ban them from the press conferences. LVG turned on some guy the other day and starting telling him that he [the reporter] should get the sack. Maureen has had his sullen silences and angry responses more time than I care to mention. Wenger dug out Jacqui Oatley and labelled speculation over his future last week as "a farce"
All of these men are joined by one thing - an ego as big as a house. He admitted to being hurt by what the Stoke Three did but it hardly stopped him grinning like a smug wanker from ear to ear when the VT was secured once more, and nor will it this time.
I sampled the so called "toxic atmosphere" against Swansea - some booing, and he walked off giving people the thumbs up as if to say "boo all you like.....fuck you, I'm going nowhere"
I actually think the bloke is deluded enough to ride this out and still think he'll win us the CL or PL under his philosophy.....sadly the Goon who employs him is more than happy for his money making experiment to continue too

Oh, I agree. I'm not convinced the fans can force him out, but if he's in two minds about whether to walk away in 2017 or not, then maybe the fans can help tip the balance.
In any case, other than let our feels be known in the stadium there's very little fans can do so we might as well boo and shout angry stuff at the top of our voices. It's kinda therapeutic

What's the alternative?
Have a good old moan about the injustice of it all...............?
Seems popular about these parts.
Kroenke is a leech & there should have been more protests years ago, he has destroyed loyal AFL supporters in St Louis & treated them like shite & moved their club to another city to make a massive profit, that's all he cares about
The more pressure that Kroenke gets, the more likely Wenger will start to make excuses for the wiggy barstard, Wenger can't help himself & many of his supporters still use Kroenke as an excuse for Wenger's failures. Wenger will turn supporters against himself when he defends the septic wig.
Any pressure on Kroenke is legitimate protest & Wenger WILL have something to say as he always does, any defence of the Yank WILL backfire on Wenger big time!
Time for all concerned to pick their target & aim fire!
I agree that pressure to leave must be kept up on TOF for the rest of this season. The only thing to fuck it up, is if there actually is a yet-to-be-announced extension. The banner should be out at all away games. The Kroenke song can only help.
