Arsenal at Old Shatford. sunday 28th Feb. 2.05pm

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

The real scandal, is we are more than good enough to compete with top clubs. But our rivals are Tottenham and Leicester City - and we are a distant 3rd in the race, both in position and performance.

The only positive, is after every year, Wenger gets a year older, and at 66 is edging closer to the exit door.

He said he might have quit if we lost to Hull in the FA Cup two years ago. Surely this disaster is on a grander scale and might force him to give it up.

clearly he has been "tapped up" - I'm not surprised Hartlepool have half an eye on him

Walcott even irritated me the way he jogged off when being subbed.

One of the most humiliating days as a Gooner. As bad as the 8-2, the 4-4 and worse than Bradford. So so so much wrong but everyone knows where the blame lies. Anyone renewing their STs after today can literally, go jump.

But the club and Arsene are all intertwined, Arsenal are plugged into the WENGERGRID.

If we had some independent thinking footballing people we would have told Wenger to move on long ago.

Fuck the bloody lot of them - Walcott, Gabriel, Ramsey, Alexis all desperately shite and as for the Egyptian Ray Wilkins....dear me, I'm glad we waited a lifetime for him.

Absolutely no room in this team of superstars for a striker like Higuain eh? No, lets spend the last 20 minutes pumping long balls into Giroud like a modern day Wimbledon.

Boring, paceless shit. Not a single proper defender in the squad, a pathetic excuse of a ballerina masquerading as a holding midfielder and a clueless prick standing there waving his arms at the 4th official

Looks like the march collapse has started early steve o
Yep, its all going to plan mate. I said we struggle to make double figures points over February and March and fully expect a goalless borefest on Weds night, unable to unlock a Swansea defence that apparently hasn't kept a clean sheet in an away game since Adam was a lad. Next week is a nailed on defeat at the shit-tip even against a team of average, hard working plodders and defeat at Goodison is also a certainty. I reckon West Brom at home will be the only league win but by then the title will be gone, we'll be a 1 point or so above ManUre (yes them of the crisis) and when the pressure to actually win something big is lifted we'll spring to life post Easter by splattering Watford. Book your seat for the lap of appreciation against Villa. You'll spot Elneny - he'll be the one moving sideways across the halfway line when the rest of them are walking round

I don't quite agree, we have the nucleus of a good side, but only if they are well trained, well drilled tactically, and all played in their natural position. Then we are a decent team, but we desperately need upgrading in a few areas, striker, centre back, central midfield, and most important, manager.

What still gets me is how any AKB can still think Wenger is the right man for this job. Seriously. WTF?

What pi..es me off about Walcott, is his pleasantness. He really is good boy Theo. Polite, well mannered Theo.

His weak, mentally, physically, and has no agression in him. He is a Fing choir boy and has no right to play in a game that used to bear the likes of Keane, Vieira, Keown, RVN, Schmicheal, Lehmann, Vidic, Adams.

Theo is good good good boy.

That is the crux. The players are good enough to win a title, but not with Wenger. He just doesn't have the tactical nous. Look at how we played against Barca. We looked like we had a plan. Today, we reverted back to 'not a scooby' mode. WTF does this man work on with his players in the week? Can't he motivate them for a team going for the title?

I guess not.

Relative to Tottenham and Leicester City, we are Barcelona. Which goes to my point, that Wenger is Fing it up big time
