Re: EU referendum - What will you vote?

Post by Herd »

I said before the vote that they wouldnt let us leave the EU even if we voted for it and to a large extent that is true even if they trigger clause 50 .
We will have to adopt a large chunk of the freedom of movement and I have no issues with that and likewise the free trade will be essential and will be done .
What it will mean though is that we wont have to treat migrants for free on the NHS or provide them with housing or welfare which will stop a lot from coming. We will also be able to refuse entry or deport those who pose a threat to our society especially DB10 as his pillaging of the UK must come to an end .
What it means is we might be able to fish off our own shores fore a change which might be nice.
Our Banking and markets wont change very much once things calm down most large utility businesses are EU owned ,we were not in the Euro anyway .
Our banks hold them same portfolios they did yesterday ,nothing much will change .
That the stock market is down , so what it was overvalued anyway .
We are weak V the dollar in the short term well so be it !
Nut Flush seems to think he's ITK on the world economy but has the insight of a sun reader .
Theres a lot of workl to do but eventually people will see we did the right thing even though its going to mean a lot of hard work !

As a foreigner ( :D  ) I'm loath to lock this thread lads, but seriously can we please drop the personal insults - and debate like adults?

SlyNews are running along nicely with their agenda; now reporting "numerous" incidents of people accosting Asian and Black English people (always apparently "third and fourth" generation) and telling them to "leave" as they (the supposed xenophobes) have won the referendum and all the "immigants" now must go. Now I'm sure there has been a couple of incidents where racist mongs have done that but I'm struggling to believe it's quite as endemic as SlyNews are trying to make out.

You really can't have a debate with people who are as uninformed as you are. That's probably why we will Brexit, because the masses in this country are living in the past and haven't got a clue about the concept of globalisation.

Every point I have made in my last post, had a clear and rational economic principle. You haven't done anything but confirm your ignorance so I will stop wasting my energy.

haha pathetic. really hope these condesedning remainers f off to france or germany now...or scotland... bbbbbbbbbut i dont have the right anymore...oh well tough. but then again its not like its massively difficult for non eu nationals to work and live in those places is it or visa free travel being a thing to most european countries, eu or not...
The irony of this post cannot be lost. Two days after the referendum it's slowly unravelling the lies you where fed by Farage, Gove and Bungling Boris.

We will have a recession for the first time in history made by the electorate. HSBC have already denied they are going to move 1000 jobs to Paris. Ford and Airbus are assessing what to do with their UK operations. As I said before you can be sure Nissan and Toyota will be reviewing whether it is still beneficial to have plants in the UK. The stock market and the pound collapsed on Friday, no doubt there will be more volatility.

All of the things that where suggested could happen have already started, this is only the beginning. It was called scaremongering 3 days ago, now it's reality. You can wallow in your own self importance for being part of a movement that ultimately will hit people like you, that have great trouble in spelling basic words such as condescending. Little England at work.
u really are a tool. theres more to life than money. again your stating unkwowns and what ifs as if there facts. well if my mum had a dick she would be my dad. the stock market and sterling crashed and then rallied somewhat as anyone with half a brain knew, and said all along as you know full well, yet your using that as apparent justification for your told you so views. clealry a brexit would cause short term uncertainty, noting unexpected has happened and nothing concrete has happened. ford/airbus are considering, im sure their always considering, so what? until they f off you have nothing. MS moving staff, well they had to. its not a choice. either they give up that part of the business, open a european entity to contract under, or move staff abroad...again its no indication as euro claering for companies without an eu contracting entity would always have to move as a result of brexit.

as for spelling owe shit sorry i didnt use a spell check. thus im a stupid little englander. if we want to start willy waving about who is cleverer bring it on, im apparently so academically gifted i attended one of the best unis in the world, and have a very good job in finance, employ a number of eu nationals in my team, who, btw, to a man want there countries to have a refereundum too, am under 30... yet i voted out as i appreciate theres more to life than money and the majority of people in financial services are self serving c*nts only out for themselves, as u seem to be. these are the people who cause this scaremongering and volatility and do it to profit. the fiancial world and system is phoney and self serving and those in it create the problems for their own benefit.

why not join chippy and keep quoting left wing low circulation newspapers and passing them off as unbiased proof of the end of the world.

as mentioned if u all hate it so much go! im confident that the 5th/6th largest economy in the world can be a great success on its own, especialy oce the self serving media scaremongering stops and things naturally settle down. just glad you chaps were not the sort we had in the 30's...!
And this my friends is why this country is fucked. A Brexiteer with the IQ of a baboon (actually thats an insult to our primate friends) who was allowed to vote in the referendum. Happy recession.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Ula8oi_M4 ... rch=always

again condescending. recession in your opinion. but no one else is allowed those are they. ignore the points I made and simply respond in patronising. as the countries about to end you really should get in that nuclear bunker or flee to Argentina.

you condesend, refuse to engage in coherent argument and points people make, yet i have a low iq. I will say again. if I'm so stupid and thus not allowed an opinion, what's your alma mater my patronising friend?

just as they tried to sensationalise the supposed trouble and "drinking ban" in lille after the Russia slovakia game. when in reality it was a few people with handbags involved in the few minor skirmishes that there were and the sky presenter admitted as much off camera.

edit please don't lock on my account...a couple of people on here simply rubbishing the views of the majority of posters and the majority of the country, and some of us are simply trying to find out why people who disagreed with them are simply labelled stupid.

it's the same as happening with all the remain people...Didn't get what they wanted so belittle everyone with opposing views

Markets tumbled because it is a major change to the global financial system and moreover the result was unexpected. The Dow Jones also fell drastically but I wouldn't say we've exactly broken the US economy...

EU bureaucrats like Martin Schulz are posturing because they can see that the EU is in huge trouble and that there is no mechanism for them to speed up the UK's exit.

Meanwhile politicians who are accountable to an electorate like Merkel have been far more conciliatory because they see that taking a spiteful stance will hurt their own citizens.

The Leave campaign has scaled back some of its more ludicrously exaggerated claims.

Nobody should be surprised by any of this and the idea that one side has been "proved right" in the last few days is nonsense.

No worries, mate. We only ban people as a last resort. We don't mind the odd blow up between posters (it happens!) but we have to keep a lid on continuous personal insults or abuse.

No he did not. What Brighton posted was disgusting xenophobic/racist slurs. Nut Flush insulted another poster and has been insulted by other posters. We let these things go with a general warning because tbh it's not major personal abuse. We try to nip it in the bud and rely on the posters to be civil to some extent.

If we were to ban everyone that has insulted another poster there would be no one on here except Basil and g88ner!

Thats why they voted to leave, so their kids to finally move out and cook, clean and do their own bloody laundry.
Compare it to USD, since Euro is sinking together with pound!!!
Ah a European who is wiser than an Englishman. Pound fell to its lowest level against the dollar for 30 years. And this is very important as all our non EU trade is generally done in dollars. And of course all energy markets are $ denominated so petrol is set to rise about 2-3p per litre this week. Soon to be followed by gas and electricity prices. But not to worry all the "savings" are going to reduce the VAT, or NHS or bugger all.

Banks will have to move operations into the EU.

We're obviously not in recession after 48 hours  But no multi-national is going to invest big sums in the UK for the foreseeable future and many are looking for exit strategies.

So you are admitting that house prices are going to fall. Not sure how popular that will be with those relying on their houses for pensions, especially as any investments and/or pensions are being wiped out by the stock market fall.

As for the NHS.

I'm Kosovan-Albanian! That makes me not European, or better said not wanted European!
I guess :rubchin:  , since I get paid in USD :rubchin: , and if I think the same way Europenas think "selfish"! It's good to me! :rubchin:
But no, I can't think that way, no matter what I make, and how I live, still been worried about all this mess!
