The Summer 2014 TRANSFER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Akpom too has shown more than Sanogo; ball control, shooting from angles, good off the ball runs.
Unfortunately I think the charity shield told us all we need to know. We were winning 2-0 in what is still essentially a pre season friendly so were in a perfect position to see more of what he has to offer and he brings on Rosicky which fucked me right off as you won't learn anything new about him nor do we need to. He then gave Campbell a few minutes at the end! Was a great opportunity to play him against top opposition. I would have tried him out against Palace as well, putting Cazorla in the middle and dropping Wilshire or dropping postie and sticking him or Sanchez up top :banghead:

And with rojo probably heading to manure you would have to think that it will be full release clause or no deal at this stage :( We won't get a proper DM and nor will we get a new striker which is a shame cos we are close to a title winning team but won't go that extra step

Any hopes of us signing a Proper/Top Class Striker have GONE!

Wenger see's Giroud and Sanogo and (maybe) Campbell as the answer - to our weaknesses up front.

All that money to spend and he doe not have a clue!

Wenger is so Out of Touch with what is required to WIN the Prem it is both Sad and Embarrassing.

We are 2 players 3 at most from being "Champions" and he just does not see it.

This is f*cking Depressing in all honesty.

VT 4th Position Here we come yet again. :suicide:

Just enough outlay for fourth place, it's the Arsene way.

Topgoon believes the Ewok and Augie are talking a load of balls.

The best teams in the world will lose by small margins because of wrong tactics. The tactics will not change for a minimum of 3 years.

Topgoon has said it before and looking at our set up nothing has changed Topgoon's thinking that over the next 3 years we will become like the Victims were under fat Rafa. We are set up to do well in cup comps and will probably win another Fa cup,the elusive league cup and if we are lucky, breech the latter stages of the champions league but bone headed tactics win leagues. AW doesn't worry about the oppo, only ourselves.

Tonight will be the first time to show a new sensible approach to going away to difficult places. Ignore the result and watch how we set up to see if anything has changed. Topgoon predicts you'll get a feeling of deja vu all over again.

Vargas reported as having a medical today at QPR, prior to a season-long loan. So panic over, he's not coming.

With any luck he'll do well there and then we can finally move him on. There is a player in there but for mid to lower half club. Good luck to him.
