SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Who will he bid for next? It's truly fucking hilarious. I can just see Dale fucking Winton reporting from outside the Emirates on deadline day.

Dale Winton will be used for the final day (September 2nd) for the mad trolly dash on Supermarket Sweep day!

Well he is a Gooner.......can someone find the bloke on Twitter somewhere and ask him if he'd be up for a spoof deadline day transfer show. Would be fucking hilarious seeing him host a show where some senile old French bloke goes dashing from aisle to aisle. We could even get a pre-packed doner kebab on the shelves to mark the signing of Cabaye, some postage stamps for Sanogo etc

We just need to have some sort of bargain bucket on the end of the aisle where he pulls out Ashley Williams and some useless *word censored* from Lille with 00.01 seconds left on the clock

I find it ridiculous he walked away from Higuain. So Real moved the goalposts, why not try negotiating? I'm sure a compromise could have been reached but instead we pull out and try a ridiculous bid for Suarez.

£10m for Kebab? The club just don't seem to operate in any sort of logical way.

Just lock this down.

Wenger has shown in this transfer window that he is, frankly, incompetent. At which other club would this farcical Ealing comedy be allowed to continue?

I see Pellegrini has been commenting upon the four players he has in Gareth Barry's position and how he has spoken to the player who will need to fight for his place

Another potential 'useless *word censored*' option for Lord Wenger to spurn his riches upon

He'll only sign English players if they're young enough to be indoctrinated into Wengerism. At Barry's age he'd only sign him if he had French as a second nationality.

I'd rather we signed no-one than let Wenger panic buy any old bollocks. NOT A PENNY MORE.
