Personally I would sign Craig Gordon on a free, Dempsey for 7m, m'vila for 12m and then make a real genuine bid for David villa and sell feo - walnuts transfer fee would pay for m'vila, we are already 8m in profit from this transfer window and that would pay for Dempsey, Craig Gordon is on a free and if we had a transfer budget of 30m coming into this window then that would cover villa's transfer fee I know some would point to the fact that all the figures I mentioned doesn't include wages but so far we have got rvp, song, vela, almunia, Lansbury plus a few kids off the wage bill and if feo, bendtner and chamakh also departed then surely that saving would provide enough funds to meet those salary commitments ? Simples (but would never happen under this regime )
