Absolutely spot on about being the worst prepared club every year.
Just superb, a real fan who sums it all up. Puts the prawn-eating AKB's to shame.

Love to think he's right that we're at a turning point but I strongly doubt it. We'll get past Fenerbache, Wenger will do a last minute trolley dash and sign 4 new players, results will start to come and before long we'll be knocking on 4th spot again. GroundWenger Day.

We've had a million logical turning points since Clichy gave away the penalty at St Andrews in 2008 mate, makes absolutely no difference to many.

Didn't enjoy that as much as I expected.
At least I'm pissed now. Rosicky was good.
There really isn't that much positive to say about anyone else.
Sagna's fall was nasty (very dirty from Benteke IMO) he could well miss Fenerbahce and Fulham
Koscielny (pretty rubbish apart from the great tackle for a pen) is suspended for both
Obviously Vermaelen misses them too, Nacho isn't fit.
Selling clubs will know we are desperate and we'll overpay anyway.
Terrible close season fek up.
Hope the signings we eventually do make are worth the wait (heartache & dropped points)

An honest appraisal I'd say. Rosicky was head and shoulders above the rest today. Lord Wenger has allowed a situation to develop where after week 1 of the season we have no naturally left footed defenders available (assuming Gibbs out). The loss of Arteta for six weeks in possibly the most important role on the field leaves us looking awful at the back and we were wide open without him

Now its PANIC PANIC time because all of the top quality that was available has moved and we're now looking at fucking Michu for £20m. I actually think he'll struggle to get a dozen league goals this year and it will be just our luck that the Self Harmer will break our transfer record to get him.

Another paceless striker.....just what's needed....not

Wenger us rightly being torn apart for his transfer business (or lack thereof) but how about how poorly prepared that team was. They were disgraceful and clearly underdone for what was for a change a settled lineup. Out muscled by kids, lacking in quality and endeavour (bar Rosicky) and why Walcott didn't get hooked for doing nothing or Wilshere for letting his ego defeat his talent says Wenger can't even coach the team he has (which is HIS team).
He's faaarked!!

Seems to be quite angry about the situation... What's the case with this blog, I've read somewhere in this forum that this blog is or has been quite positive about wenker?

Most of the positive bloggers have been cosied up to by the club in some capacity or other so have been very kid gloves when it comes to criticism.

Don't know if any have recently changed their tune.

Only just seen the highlights, played cricket yesterday and got soaked by showers all day so apart from being pissed off because of the weather I also play with 4 spud supporters (2 of them season ticket holders) so I was being reminded of the score as it happened.

I wasn't even fussed about the scoreline which is very unusual for me and to be fair the spuds didn't give me too much stick, I think they almost felt sorry for me (plus they will get bitch slapped even if they are mates  )

I think the time has arrived where I too have become apathetic towards Arsenal and results.

Got the usual texts from manc supporters but for once never even bothered to reply, I would normally defend us against any oppo fans even if I didn't believe in my own argument (after all we can slag our own team off but fuck off can the others  ) but I just found myself agreeing with the cun.ts.

I never want Arsenal to lose, ever but I didn't care yesterday and IF it does bring change then good but I know it won't, we could lose the first 10 games of the season and it won't change anything, as long as supporters keep buying those season tickets then expect to see the same man in charge along with all the old geriatric board.

Saw RVJ's goals earlier too, disgraceful that we sold him to them twats

Granted I was royally twatted yesterday but I do seem to remember (in amongst a lone walk back through some of the less salubrious areas of Nottingham) us getting dicked at home by a shit Villa side even though they happily handed us a 1-0 lead and then our former striker scoring two class goals for Man United.

Yeah, as officepest says Arseblog got buttered up by the club a few years back, offered perks etc. They even put the arseblog book in the membership pack a few years back.

Le-Grove is about the only one that consistently calls Wenger out properly imo; http://le-grove.co.uk/2013/08/18/arsene ... to-defeat/

I saw most of the first half(before a thunderstorm cut all our power). I thought our goal was top quality, but after that Ramsey gave the ball away countless times, Jack has talent in his feet but his head seems to be somewhere else. I thought the Ox looked Ok but the rest were poor.

I then watched MotD. What a shambles! However, for me, it was AW's rant about the ref and the press that has made me most depressed. He accused the press of 'getting what they wanted'. What he doesn't seem to understand is they WE got what THEY (and many of us) PREDICTED. The weaknesses and dangers were there for everybody to see, apart from out Great Leader.
