As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Oh yes. Try this.
You support your team because it has won stuff.
My team has won stuff because of my support.
You have no evidence for that statement have you?
I supported The Arsenal since 1970, through thick and thin, same as my old man since the 1930s. Weve had less thin times, your team has had more ups and downs, but that doesnt make your support any better at all.
Enjoy your day too, hope your support isnt up to much as we dont want you to win

Oddly enough we do both support them to win "stuff" and they win "stuff" because of our support too.
Your attitude for someone on another team's forum is a bit odd.
I would wish you good luck but the way some of your players and manager have been mouthing off , we'll be too nervous to play and you'll simply turn up and win.

As opposed to having been brought up in north london or the surrounding areas, and having identified with the club rather than spurs/manure/chavski or pool?
You really are a tool to suggest Arsenal fans follow the club because of past glories. With the exception of the football tourist I should imagine a large proportion of our support comes from the local area, just like yours does.
Going by your logic we wont get new fans supporting Arsenal because we haven't won anything in 9 years. Yet we sell out nearly every home game and our average gates have gone up in this period following the move to the emirates.

What an absolute bell-end thing to say. That's right, all people who support teams who have won more than other teams do so because of the trophies they have won. It's got nothing to do with history, family, friends, school mates, place of birth, general interest in the game or team. It's pathetic and small-minded to say that just because you support a small team from a tiny shithole that you are somehow a better fan than an Arsenal supporter or indeed any other big team. I find those kind of comments to be laughable, purely because they are so cliched. What it does show is that you support a team that has won fuck all. We support a team that has won lots of things. Who is better? Who is worse? Neither. I believe you support a team and a true supporter follows their team and has a passion for it, regardless of whether it is the most successful club ever or a small, one-horse-town team. What I can't understand is the idea that following an unsuccessful team means you are a better fan or closer to the club. It's a small-time, chip-on-the shoulder mentality that really shows a lack of respect and understanding for supporters of other teams. I don't go on a Hull forum and threaten to report your fans or have them kicked out or go on a Hull forum and give it the small town, big man act. I was merely pointing out that you come across as sanctimonious, you have proved it.
Managed to get 2 tickets today for £230 (face value), In block 123 which is smack bang on the half way line, I believe this is a neutral section, Not for me tho
Wow this geezer from Hull has really pushed your buttons and no mistake. Anyone reading would think they've taken a wrong turn on the Internet and ended up on RAWK.

Yeah anything on half way would have been neutral, why didn't you take them? I would have snapped them up on behalf of a mate that's looking.
CBA with Dr Hull anymore, if he comes down with that sort of attitude he wont have a very good reception from gooners on Saturday.

It's not our fault. I blame the Sun newspaper or the Police or The Conservative party or the server hosting this page.
Theres a seat map on page 31 taken from arsenal.com when the tickets where on sale. Given the allocations where the same for both clubs you will be able to figure which seats are hull/neutral.
Lower tier pitchside are pretty much all neutral blocks. Upper tier its 2 or 3 blocks either side of the half way line.
My mates Dad who works at the FA who got the tickets says they are in the Arsenal end. I mean if you look at the map anything on the left hand side is going to be Arsenal
I got told the same. I guess given which side they are of the halfway line they're in the 'Arsenal end' without being part of Arsenal's allocation. The block will be packed with Gooners anyway as will most of the 'neutral' areas.
