The problem for me is his whole attitude and approach stinks .
He struts around the field like a petulant prick, his reading of the game is very poor and he gets sucked into petty squabbles with opponents rather than concentrating on beating them .
I hope he will mature but I fear he will not !
I know the man who brought him to the club who disagrees with me , he tells me he is a very good lad and the Public image doesn't reflect the fact he is a decent lad ........I hope he is right as I really do want to see him shine !
I'm sure he is a good lad. But what matters is the attitude on the pitch and in training. On the pitch he is the anti Ozil. Trying to look flash - look at me going on another pointless dribble - rather than honing his skills for the benefit of the TEAM.

MK Gould wrote:If there was even the slightest hint of him being up for sale then United, City, Liverpool, Chelsea would all be queuing at our door... That should give us a bit of a clue about whether he is worth being patient with. Ok, so he has gone through a bad patch of form and injury - but never as low as Ramsey, and look what happened to him last season!

I'd prefer that he didn't smoke, but there have been plenty of gooner legends who have done far worse  !
Who would buy him with his injury record? Scholes got it right Wilshere hasnt progressed. But the media love his.Yes Cruyff Zidane Platini all smoked but they were world class players.Jack isnt

I would like to see Jack Wilshere go on loan ABROAD for a couple of seasons.
He might then come back a better player.

at the moment he is surrounded by too many people who tell him he is wonderful.
he is not. he is an overhyped waste of space who will be lucky to get a game for us this season if everyone is fully fit.

Pictured smoking again after saying he wasn't a smoker the last time. He goes to ground like Robben and loses possesion too much. He certainly has talent in there somewhere and has shown moments of brilliance but do we really need him in our over populated midfield?

IIn his mind he's already made it. He's a premier league player and just went to the World Cup. For many players that's enough. Only a few have the motivation to get better and better. He looks like he'd be content to be a regular and popular midfielder somewhere like Everton or Villa, rather than the ultra career long dedication needed to play at a Club with ambitions of winning the champions League in the near future. Villa or Everton - That's about his level. He'd probably be happier there, less scrutiny and pressure.

He is shite, got an opportunity in the last World Cup game, but looked even worse than those who had fucked up earlier. must surely hold the record for falling over the most times in a world cup game or even any game or any sport.
Add to that his stupid fucking wanking twiiter comments and I have to say I don't fucking like him and wish he would fuck off to a club where he would be more suited, ie Villa or perhaps QPR where he and Joey wanker Barton would make a good double act.
Every fan of other clubs that I discuss footie with, just laugh when Wilshere's name is mentioned and it's not because they are envious that he doesn't play for their club, it's because he plays for ours and there are still stupid gullible idiot fucking gooners who think he is a star. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Scholes was right when he said Wilshere hasn't improved over the past couple of years, like everyone expected him to.
I think Wilshere is like a lot of young players who are given the contract/money before they've proved anything, once they have it, the motivation goes.
At the end of the day, he's a young bloke, giving it the biggun and having some fun. However, if he wants to smoke and piss about then that is up to him but it will be the difference him between being a journeyman and one of the best, like Scholes.
Last season Wilshere was pretty piss poor and not the player we thought he'd be.
You'd have thought this season was a defining moment for him. He needs a good one, especially with the competition at Arsenal now.
He obviously doesn't see it that way!

I do think it's time to look at the possibility of selling him. He isn't going to progress any further by the look of it. Plus the fact he goes down like a fucking tart every time he's kicked and its a standard 6\9 weeks out with a broken vagina.

As much as I disagree with sid's assessment that Jack is shite  I do agree that he is a total pussy on the pitch nowdays. And as much as it makes me sick to agree with an Ubercunt like Scholes, he's right - Jack hasn't progressed or developed like we all thought he would.

BUT - he is still young enough. So I wouldn't sell him yet.

But I'd have a word about the diving and breaking his vagina!

In his defence he did miss the best part of two seasons and it shows.

On the other hand he is as thick as bricks and I'm not sure where he'll fit in. The smoking thing doesn't bother me as it didn't bother Shatini, Cruyff, Zidane or fucking loads of great players, although I will concede it my show up an attitude problem - and that would bother ne.

Make-or-break season for him.

i think Jack can be one of our best players. He need a full season injury free and he could
be come a really exciting midfield general. Remember Ramsey was a player a lot of us didn't rate
but look how that has turned out. Maybe he felt the pressure of being one of our best players when
he came back from injury the first time after his 12 month or so out and he was still only 19 or 20, but this season I don't think he will start and it might suit him to come off the bench to make an impact. He is now 23 and coming
up to the prime of his career.
A lot of people around me in block 127 think he is over rated and I am in the minority still hoping Jack will become
the player we thought he would. Just needs a season fully fit
