The ''no one is coming'' Transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Haven't tracked his career since he left these shores but there were more than a few on here who championed his cause back in the day. Might be a pile of shite now for all I know but given our complete lack of cover in that area ?
Don't fall for it SteveO! With all the money we've got in reserve we shouldn't be scrabbling for freebies in last day of the Woolworths sale! We should have got a Wanyama, Lars Bender or Javi Martinez over summer. I fucking hate how small time Le Trou du Cul has turned us into :banghead:
I'll never fall for all that shite mate......just wondered if TO1AW's ears had been pricked up by his favourite words "available on a free" :D

We've got as much chance of signing any of those as we have winning the title, and yet all should be available to a club like ours with the resources we have

Oh god I've just had a horrible thought :duh:

What if a load of world class players have been knocking on Wenger's door all these years and he's been down the shops or sitting on the khazi or hanging out the back of that Parisian rapper and they never got an answer?

Would take him in a heartbeat - yes with the money at our disposal we should be signing a top quality DM that is approaching his peak years, but de jong is a tough b.astard who is positionally disciplined and will be a leader in a team of pussies

Quick, somebody start a summer transfer thread.......Aubameyang is coming :barscarf:

Most likely the week before ST renewals go out before the deal hits a snag and we turn our attention to a 19 year old Moldavian :barscarf:

Another useless piece of shit due a Testimonial in not long, he can double up with Wally and do 2 testimonials for the price of one.
Another overpaid wastrel who's stolen money for a decade almost. I still remember his horrific slip in that CL semi thrashing at home to ManYoo in 2009. Years later and he still can't cross, no idea positionally, still a crock, still retarded, no physical strength, can't track a man, can't tackle. Unbelievable how long he's got away with such incompetence.
Mind you, seeing how long the manager has gotten away with ineptitude..,,
Not that I particularly want to defend Gibbs, but I was more livid with Wanger for that than Gibbs; he shouldn't have been anywhere near them first team yet was thrown under the bus in a massive game.

He repeated the same trick with Sanogo, FFS.

Whilst he can get away with shit like this and not be hammered by the fans we have no hope. None.

Seems like he was another player 'knocking on the door' before signing for Dortmund.

I was going to do a joke about Wenger maybe not hearing all these superstars knocking on his door and post a picture of a really big knocker and suggesting he should invest in one but typing "giant knockers" into google leads to a whole other world of satisfaction :barscarf:

What is this nonsense? Don't they know it's impossible to also sign players over the summer? What with "dizzying prices" and the fact that clubs aren't advertising their top players for sale in the Yellow Pages classifieds
Crucially you're forgetting that with the Euros coming up prices for top players will be inflated. Meaning we would usually get Aubameyang but since he's going to be at the Euros with...

Benzema won't be at the Euros due to his legal case though.
He still isn't coming...

Let's hope we can do Debuchy a favour and resurrect his 2016 hopes. :banghead:

He could've played in the fa cup games for god's sake...are we not paying him?

Wenger's got to...oh, what's the point. :banghead: :cussing:
