The only positive, is after every year, Wenger gets a year older, and at 66 is edging closer to the exit door.

He said he might have quit if we lost to Hull in the FA Cup two years ago. Surely this disaster is on a grander scale and might force him to give it up.
I don't quite agree, we have the nucleus of a good side, but only if they are well trained, well drilled tactically, and all played in their natural position. Then we are a decent team, but we desperately need upgrading in a few areas, striker, centre back, central midfield, and most important, manager.
Relative to Tottenham and Leicester City, we are Barcelona. Which goes to my point, that Wenger is Fing it up big time

Looking forward to the counter arguments. Normally its us who go to OT with a threadbare squad but today we had all of our strikers available (for what the fuck that's worth) and apart from JW10 and Santi, there were no major missing names. On the other hand they were shorn of all their first choice strikers, playing Laurel and Hardy at centre half and bereft of any confidence having been nailed by some of England, and Europe's most average teams, week after week.

Yeah he cannot even applaude the Arsenal fans properly - that limo wristed effiminate attempt at a clap..
TBH mate I've never given a fuck about players clapping fans. It's the chirpy way he jogs off as if he has delivered a shift.

I can see a pattern here:

17 year old Rooney scores against Seaman.
19 year old Mellor scores against Lehmann.
18 year old Rasford scores against Cech.

Souness. The same Souness who said we would win today and for some inexplicable reason thought we were going to win the league???

PLEASE
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, speaking to BBC Sport: "We played with a lot of intensity, I cannot fault our commitment and spirit and desire but I feel we conceded too easy goals.

"I think after the game we have to be positive and prepare for the next one. We have another game on Wednesday, they come thick and fast and you want to keep a good mentality.

"We did fight until the end, we had a lot of the ball but I think we could avoid the goals with better concentration.

"I am disappointed because we lost the game but we will focus on the next one. This is a fight where you go to the next one and aim to come back even stronger."

Honestly mate, I just switch the TV off as soon as the final whistle goes and try not to read anything he says anymore. We fought well did we......and played with a lot of intensity. I presume Walcott, Ramsey, Gabriel and Alexis are not included in that because all 4 of them were an absolute shambles today and didn't show an ounce of fight or intensity.

"Arsene Wenger has admitted that he has been agonising this week over Arsenal’s lack of goals and he is considering starting with Theo Walcott as his main striker for the first time in the Premier League since October."

I think he has a set piece to read to the media and just tweaks it according to what happens, because he keep saying that every week and every week we come back even weaker.

That I do agree with, and I wonder what players like Ozil & Sanchez think of Wengers methods, both having played under some of the best coaches in Europe.
