great to see us win a big match at a major tournament, would have loved to have seen it but i'm holiday- sky updates were all i could get.

The pundits who would have absolutely castigated England's performance had Sturridge not scored then described it as superb after the game....

Disappointed not to see Wales play more positive football but to come that close to getting a result with the difference in quality you can't fault them much. Only one side you could say deserved to win the game but Wales restricted England to very few clear-cut chances and that was their game plan. Davies and Chester were superb but awful mistake from Williams for the first and Walker terrorised Taylor throughout.

Also found the praise of Rooney laughable. The fat twat dropping deep and spraying sideways passes was exactly what Wales wanted. His only notable contribution to the game was giving Wales the free-kick for the goal yet Lineker thinks he was phenomenal again.

Shame that fucking Dave Edwards was caught dozing at half pace again for the goal - just like Slovakia. Problem with sitting that deep is no matter how well you defend the chances are that a few loose balls are going to drop the oppositions way in the danger area and that's what happened.

I would think that woy can feel very satisfied with himself tonight - even though engerland largely owned the first half, he still wasn't happy with things and was ruthless at half time where as other managers (inc but not only wenker) would have stuck with the same players and told them that they were doing well. Lets be honest and say that if it wasn't for a shocking goal, wales never looked like winning and engerland dominated.

Now after commending woy for his willingness to be ruthless at half time, I am now asking if he is willing to be as ruthless when picking his starting team the next day - I am a long time critic of joe hart and feel that he is incredibly over-rated so if I was picking the team then he wouldn't start the next game. Championships can be won and lost on key incidents, and no team can afford to have a keeper letting in a shot from 35 yards like that. If engerland had not come back to win this game, it would have been woy that was in the media's firing line when it should be the cunting keeper who almost dropped him into the shit
