SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

And the defensive crisis will be eased by the arrival of Manchester City's Micah Richards and Schalke full-back Atsuto Uchida.

If we sign Begovic, Micah Richards, Paul Pogba and a top striker, I will be satisfied.

Spuds got Willian for 30m
Now they have to sell monkey, otherwise they spent around 100m and earned 6 from Dempsey.. Where all this money came from? Wenker would have a lot to say about this.
But we can't ignore the fact that they improved big time and we ... have a rubbish "look like a road worker" training kits

I'm still hoping the signings will come before deadline, especially Rooney.
If Wenger dosent sign top quality, he needs to go a.s.a.p.
I live in hope.

So did Cabaye tell them he wanted to leave then?? :?:

I think Yohan Kebab would play well alongside Pita Beardsley

Those sound like excellent signings
but the super quality striker is noticeable by his absence...

Apparently that signing is due to Bale going to Madrid for £93M inc. Coentrao.

It's still a quiet market though eh? :(

Looking likely that Spurs will land Willian, and strong rumours that Baldini's Roma connections will land them Lamela.

If they then go on to land Coentrao and ship out Bale (for a reported £93m!!), they are a far superior squad then they were last year, even without Bale. £93m for a player who was a shit left back just 3 years ago!

This Willian signing would even mean that they could dump the lame Lennon and play Willian and Chadli on the wings instead. Lennon has good traits, but is even more brainless then Feo at times.

Liverpool missing out on more players then we are this summer

They also got around £14m for Caulker and Huddlestone.

But yeah, if they get Willian in, it'll definitely look like Bale is off. But Real have been quiet... So I'm excepting to see Moyes to put in a bid

what goes around comes around,we are the most hard done by club out there for other clubs tapping up our players, think of all the crap we had to endure from Barca over Henry then Fab not to mention plenty of other players whove been lured away by other admiring clubs laying there legs akimbo!!Pardew should shut the fuck up the stupid cretin :banghead:

so long as bale go's, they are no great shakes. theyve signed decent players, all unproven in england and from small clubs. bale is the key though. if he stays they have more good (unproven though)players plus a world class player/match winner. if he leaves they just have a squad of good players.

I'd rather Wenger not piss the money away so that a new manager can have it next season (even if it means this season being a write-off) or spend it on somebody quality who will be great for us this year and beyond.
Agree on both counts.

Jock Stein once said: ''the Celtic jersey doesn't shrink to fit inferior players'' ... if only we had people with that sort of mentality managing our club these last few years.
I always wondered why Jimmy Johnston used to tuck his shirt in his socks! :D

Toally agree....the like sof him are Loooong Gone!.

Cabaye is a typical Wenger signing, plays for a shit team, wont cost much, and is French. Any AKB'S who still think Wenger is interested in trophies, need to wake up. This is a signing designed to help us scrape into that magical 4th spot :banghead:
