I would have bought someone as 1st choice keeper and had Chesney as back up personally along with a defensive midfielder with Song as back up a striker to replace RVP and a left back as both Gibbs and Santos arent good enough and thats along with Giroud, Podolski and Cazorla

Llorente - Top notch striker.
Benayoun - Proven cover for all attacking midfield positions.
Baines - Left back, allows us to use Gibbs left midfield and central midfield as needed, and Santos left midfield.
Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa - Central defence competition and cover for whole backline and defensive midfield.

It has been half a transfer window for us, three promising signings but that is only about half of what I think we need.

What kills me most as an Arsenal fan is that EVERY single summer since 2007, Arsene Wenger has killed Arsenal's hopes for the season before a ball has been kicked. He has done it again this summer.

Wenger/Kroenke/Gazidis all knew that rebellion was in the air with the fans. Wenger has spent years lying to the fans about signing such and such a player, and they knew they had to change tack this summer or they wouldn't shift those STs.

So they tried a new clever policy this summer round: sign a glut of players FIRST, hence giving certain ppl the impession that Arsenal are now ambitious.
I'm appalled at how many of you fell for this non-eloquent ruse!

The lies started again:
'We want RVP to stay, Giroud and Podolski have been brought o play alongside him'
And still you believed the lying Wenger knew RVP would be sold ages in advance and that is why he was gagged from speaking to the media at the Euros: get the ST cash in first, then some of our more gormless fans will ridiculously think that RVP is a turncoat who is leaving the club despite the club having bought all those players he wanted.

I think what the club did with Song, leaking those rumours was a complete lack of class. They knew they would get shit from the fans so covered themselves with cowardly lies and Song has openly challenged the club to prove the allegations - the club has remained silent so far.

One looks abysmal, the other was relegated in Germany.
Over £8 million in profits stand in addition to untouched transfer facility cash.
The DCM position has not been addressed.
The back up keeper is going tocome back and bite Arsenal.

Wenger has royally FUCKED this transfer window, in a way Arsenal are far worse off now because there are no goals in this team - and - despite all the wanking over two 0-0 v Stoke and Sunderland; 2 teams that had no interest in attacking; it's deluded to think that the same back 4 who conceded 49 goals last season are magically going to conede just 20 odd because of Steve Bould alone.
Steve Bould was a great defender but he ain't Paul Daniels FFS!
