Just went on the official site there, today we are being treated to a Jenkinson exclusive and a Mannone exclusive on i-player.

This is life on deadline day at Arsenal :banghead: :cussing: :x

Well from what I can make of things,
we have sent out 18 players in total so far either sold or on loan (includes project youth etc)
and brought in 3 ...now yes we did need to get rid of some hangers on, but even taking that into account
I cannot see how this can be even standing still let alone making us stronger.
How wenger and co can get away with this is beyond me!

Moutinho
Lloris

And now in advanced talks with Llorente as well.

Guess which club is in the CL and which one is in the Europa League?

Only the 8-2 defeat saved us from this last year. To think about it, it must pissed him off bigtime having to go on a transfer spree that time. No need this season though with 2 thrilling 0-0 draws in the bag, what a fucking pillock.

I have to say, I'm really not bothered if we finish mid-table this year, we need Wenger out desperately so whatever it takes, please happen!! :barscarf:

Neither he or the club even have the decency to make a statement telling the fans that there will be no signings. I really do hope we fail miserably this time instead of the usual "excuseable" clge spot.

After the Sunderland game I was saying we are the 4th best team in the country and the sooner we get used to it the less stressed we'll all be all season.....the way today is going i'm starting to think we're now 6th/7th best...and sinking fast.

I know we needed to get rid of a lot of the deadwood that is leaving (tho seems pointless loaning if we still pay their wages)......but surely someone at the club realises that one or two injuries, and judging by recent seasons thats highly likely, we will be well and truly fucked.

i'm starting to get very, very worried.

Llorente the spanish Peter Crouch? Yeah big loss. LLoris is a quality keeper I admit but is that enough to get them in the cl? I doubt it. Mountinho hasn't played in a top league. It's all well and good looking skillful in Portugal it's something else to do it against Stoke.

I know people are not sure about Giroud or Podolski but heaven help us if they get injured.
Sorry but though I used to think this in 2009, I no longer think that is the case now.
In terms of a first 11, Man United, Chelski, Citeh, Spuds and Newcastle all have - on paper at least - better teams than Arsenal. I would go as far as to say I think the Everton first 11 is on paper almost as good as Arsenal's.

Look at the Arsenal first 11 and wh in that teamdo you look at and think 'he is gonna do it'? Sure Cazorla looks good. Then again, Denilson looked awesome at Shite Lane in the League cup and a few games after that. Cazorla has starred in two 0-0 bores in which the team could not score, and he skied a few shots. Fact.

Arsenal's first 11 has ridiculous weaknesses all over the shop. Look here

KEEPER: Chesney had the worst shots to saves ratio IN THE DIVISION last season. He is mediocre, although with that mouth he thinks he is Lev Yashin  There's many better keepers in the league.

DEFENCE: Bould has been brought in to work on the defence but I do no buy the hype after two 0-0s against two of the weakest attacking teams in the league. This is STILL the same personnel that conceded 49 goals last season. I think it's ridiculous to expect them to suddenly turn into a competent unit.

MIDFIELD: Abou Diaby is the great hope in midfield. Arteta's knee will it hold? It's a shocking midfield with Gervinho or Wally starring regular. Only Cazorla offers hope, in his opening eason, in a new rough league. Oh dear.

ATTACK: Deary deary Me. All I will say here is that Giroud has continued his shocking ineptitude in a France shirt and in the short games played, has demonstrated shockingly bad hold-up play, a poor first touch, a complete lack of awareness (pass to Ramsey v Stoke?), a penchant for trying super-difficult skills when a simple one will do (trying abicycle kick v Stoke when a simple volley was on) and a propensity to miss absolute sitters. He also fails to gamble near post and get ahead of defenders.

Podolski? Lots of hype around him too but again. Relegated with Koln. I still cannot remember the last top quality striker who was relegated with a team. Think the only ever exception was Hasselbaink and he scored 25 league goals in a proper league that season, not Ligue 1. How many did Podolski score last season again?

Arsenal's first 11 is actually to my eyes, the weakest it has EVER been under Wenger.
There has always been at least 1 or 2 world class players you could point to - these have all been sold now and you're left staring at Diabolical and Gervinho. How have the fans let it come to this???

Good Bergkamp, it's fucking depressing :(

I've enough cop on to know that these ITK *word censored* are just that, but yet all day I've been hoping that maybe one of them "guessed" it right and maybe we would sign player X. It's going to be a long season
