As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

A Defensive Mid-Fielder
An Out and Out Striker
A Centre Back
And a Left Back
You do realise that if Afcforever sees your post he will, in his extremely bizarre way, accuse you of being a spuds fan.
We got a draw today and absolutely nothing is wrong, therefore, we need no-one else.
No truth in the rumour that we have offered podolski and cash for Vidal then ? A manure fan told me in the pub that the word was that we had made that bid but it won't happen cos he is close to signing for the mid table mancs
I'd like us to sign another top striker, but in fact if we varied out attacking more it would solve a lot of problems. Wich was so bloody obvious yesterday from the nature of our goals when they finally came, the stark opposite of what Ozil and Wilshere had been trying to do the previous hour in threading inch perfect balls through the middle. Sure, When Walcott is fit Giroud can be used as a hold up interplay forward, with Walcott and Sanchez running past him (when he gets his fitness). With Ozil feeding them (finally something for our 42m superstar do) that can work, as we saw at home lt season when Walcott was fit.
The key is that when that isn't working, we have to employ plan B a bit earlier than we did against Everton. Giroud is an top international quality player attacking crosses with his head and he's got a fair few that way with his feet too running toward the near post. If the tippy tappy shit isn't working (as it rarely does away from home) we need to get it out wide QUICKLY and be piling balls into the box QUICKLY for Giroud (plus whoever else) to be getting on the end of.

This is whats so baffling for me as thats exactly what we did, using pace until TH14 left then it all stoppped, I guess playing to Cescs strengths, but now our massive strength is extreme pace, yet its so seldom used. It was pace all the way in the WC and the top tippy tappas were put to the sword.
Its easy just to say Wenger out, but WHY has the formula not been altered to match our current strengths when the same sort of play occurred (so beautifully I might add) with the same manager for so many years

Agree with most of that, but we've got 2 left backs.
Technically three if you count Brandon Ormonde-Ottwill.
But in my opinion Gibbs has now gone from being "Injured now and again" to being "One of those players who is useful IF he is fit."
Monreal is OK(ish) but nothing special.
.
That is why I included it in the Wish List.
Gibbs is quick and has good games, but he really is too Lightweight - and Monreal?...well just like last season he gor utterly raped by Lukaku yesterday - Which is a pity as he has been playing well since he took over from Gibbs.

Who will be our top scorer
""Giroud, Alexis, Ramsey, Sanogo and Walcott could all be among the goals - but who will top Arsenal's scoring chart?""
Not too hard to spot the joker in there!
Haven't seen the poll mate, but did they even include Joel Campbell....I hope the feck he gets more games than sanogo....He just needs the chance of a run of games to settle in and prove his worth (or not?)...
