As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Whilst I agree it is all well and good getting rid of the deadwood, they do need replacing with better players and we have failed to do that, thus far.
Big concerns if we don't make a couple of signings today late on. As it stands, Chamakh is backup to Giroud in the striker department.
Our fluke 3rd place finish went into our management head.
I just can't begin to wrap my head around that situation....surely Wenger must know we can't go into the season with Chamakh as the back up, and then the main man if Giroud gets injured, and then letting Bendtner go out on loan (a better option than Chamakh in my opinion). He must have another striker lined up, surely!

That's just it it is Wenger we're talking about - Actually it's not just Wenger - he takes all the flak but in truth it is:
Kroenke, The Board (every last one of them) and Wenger.
They're not fit to run, or be part of The Arsenal. (angry isn't the word!)
It's difficult to think of anything more depressing than being an Arsenal fan on deadline day, especially since we all know where the problem areas in our squad are.
It's that bad we haven't even got a rumour on caught offside. Absolute shower of shite......chamakh as our back up fuck me St Totteringhams day won't come this season......

It is like a club fighting for avoiding relegation. This transfer dead line exactly feels like one I experienced when money bags got Robinho. We sold Gilberto/Flamini/Diarra and there was no DM at club. Everyone waiting for us to announce new DM. Nothing happened that day. Then we played with Denilson for next 3 years.

Mancini probably will get Theo and we fail to agree personal terms with Dzeko. Who am i kidding with. We even pulled out of Arteta deal for pennies last year. He had had to take a $1 pay cut to join us.

Yep, we will announce that we have signed Diaby to a new 40 year contract on 80k a week and Wenger will be very proud.....

I just really thought, naively, that Wenger would change this summer. What with the early signings etc. Alas, it looks like we''re all about to be let down again.
At some point, we will run out of luck, especially with no visible world class player, and drop out of the top four. Disaster.
