'The Spirit' is one of the worst films I have ever seen, just as a warning to anyone ever considering watching it.
I like a couple of Frank Miller's other films (Sin City and 300) so had high hopes, but it is just shart.

Granted, it's really, really shit, but it's got Scarlett Johansson in a fucking nurses outfit, so it's ok with me.
It was also worth watching to see Sammy L in a Nazi uniform, purely for the "what the fuck" factor.
Similar to the new "Bad Lieutenent", where the old bird walks into her room and and Nick Cage is behind her door shaving.

Just watching Robin Hood Russell Crowe version, yes his accent is terrible but worse was the guy who played Will Scarlett, one minute pure Brooklyn then the next pure Rhondda

Yea, I suppose it also has Eva Mendes nude in it as well which can never be a bad thing.

I thought it was hilarious. A film in DB10 territory which is probably a true reflection on life in Dublin. Full of violence and what i call humour, it is a film my wife and i both enjoyed. In away it is a bit similar in style and content to the Guy Ritchie films. if you get a chance watch it.
Going to watch it this week I think...

They talk a bit funny in Dublin so I hope you can understand them

Watched it last week - 7/10
Good film, very funny. Accents ok CB (seriously, much easier than the cork one

)

I don't think it's that bad a film but Crowe's accent in it is really, really shite

Though kick ass would have been a lot better. Grown ups had its moments. Has anyone seen death at a funeral?
I did enjoy Robin Hood the second time watching it. Still the accents will need to be improved for a sequel.

The best Trilogy at the moment is the Swedish films
The Girl with the Dragon tattoo

The girl who played with fire
The Girl who kicked a hornets nest.
The first one is decent, but the second and third are absorbing.
You have to watch them in order!

I saw the first two after reading the books and thought the films were a bit of a let down. As with most books made into films, everything seems really rushed, and there are some pretty big plotholes because of certain parts being left out and others being included out of context.
I'd say that had I not read the books I probably would have enjoyed the films more.
