spot on....i tried tooworthing gooner wrote:It is a nightmare Wembley but the atmosphere was my issue (apart from the daydreaming players).
Now only season ticket holders were able to get tickets and the atmosphere told the truth. We have many people that have gone for years and now seem very comfortable with going to games and only the real biggies do the majority get up for it. Yesterday was evidence of this theory, that and a clear lack of an original song that can be sung to match other teams ie the Blues "End of the road". Yes there were sporadic groups having a go but the majority dont get involved. I personally had a good go yesterday but around me it felt very laboured effort to get songs going.
So the Gooners cant blame the JCL's and must take the blame for this one many others for that matter...

If you were with your pal 'The Noise' I must have walked past you at the end of the game. 'The Noise' was in the aisle in block 111 shouting at the upper tier that they were a fucking disgrace for not supporting the boys. Was embarrassing really. Looked like a crazed loon trying to herd cats!mikeyb772001 wrote:Our support today was fucking shit!
A real disgrace from start to finish!
I am disgusted with the fans today!
BTW - I thought block 111 did its bit. Where I was stood everyone sang all game.
did a fair bit of 'cat herd-ing' myself in 111frankbutcher wrote:If you were with your pal 'The Noise' I must have walked past you at the end of the game. mate of mine payed £150 to get a ticket for this yet we're surrounded by c*nts who have no interest whatsoever in getting behind the team and clearly have no idea how lucky they are just to be there.
plenty of people stuck outside with no ticket that'd love to have ur ticket and back the boys.
fair enough, dont get behind the team.....but sit down and shut up when we score/win something cos its fuck all thanks to you.
actually had 3 or 4 people have a go at me after the final whistle for merely pointing out what the support down the other end can do for a side tiring with 5 mins to go(as was proved)
even had some slag behind me telling me to shut up when trying to start a song at one point!!!!!

Do you know what struck me most... we are known for trying to pass the ball in the net and I agree with that, but it is truly shocking to see when you are right up close to it. We simply will not shoot on site. We had so many clear opportunities to shoot, but we won't. Wenger must have drilled it into them to only shoot when they are certain to score. If only he could drill our defence to defend set pieces in the same fashion.
