Barton is a better version of Fletcher who is key to United.

Some people can't decide what they want, they moan when we roll over, lack Passion, drive or hide when things get tough but the minute a nasty player that can address all those issues get linked then they go all precious about it.

Barton or Song or Frimpong or Denilson, dear lord, its not even a question so ain't putting the mark.

Song gets more cards and suspensions then Barton.

I feel Barton has grown out of his criminality ways with age, although he still likes to cause a fuss.

As for leadership rewatch, the 4-4 against Newcastle he single handedly lead them back into it.

We do need another holding midfielder but Barton isn't good enough for me and I do agree with Augie's points about him. Tbh I wouldn't mind cashing in on Cesc, if he wants to go his heart won't be with the cause (as we saw last season) then let him go. Let's try and perhaps get a holding midfielder in a part-exchange deal. (Mascherano for Barca, Kadeira/Lassana Diara for Real Madrid perhaps?)

Diouf not a chance as he offers nothing. Sad thing is players like Henry and Barton do help teams. We dont have anyone like that at all. Manure have got those kind of players in the squad and there is a need for them

Why not? Do you think Barton is not passionate or driven? If he wasn't he wouldn't get into half the trouble he does.

What I dont get is who the hell is putting so much money on Barton to move to us?

Surely several people dont do that unless they know something we dont and there has been no rumours at all.

Thought to myself it could be some of his buddies in Liverpool, with some inside knowledge or something.

I mean its insane for people to be betting on such a thing unless they know something. Surely?
