Abou Diaby - Injuries Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Seeing the great man tomorrow night is the only thing I'm looking forward to. Some promising signs against the Chavs. Once he's fully fit we'll have a £40m player on our books once more.....
He's a major doubt!! Evidently he was hit by a snowball on the way home at the weekend and suffered concussion and a muscle injury as he spun round in a circle on the way down. He'll be out until March now!!

You mad bastard.

May at the earliest. Just in time to sign a bumper contract extension and pay rise to £100k a week! Arsene knows!!

Well, what a fucking surprise, we were all wrong, he only lasted 210 minutes this time.... give this dopey looking waste of fucking space a free transfer, pay the *word censored* off, put him down anything, so I don't have to see him in an Arsenal shirt anymore. :banghead:

Wenger mentions Diaby and the C word, he seems desperate that Diaby gets a renewed contract, just because he looks a bit like PV4. The sooner we are rid of both of these muppets, the sooner the club can move on.

I think he's getting counselling because he cannot accept that his arch nemesis Giroud has contributed more in a half season than Diaby has in the last 3 seasons!

"Only 18 months" left. Is he joking? That's millions in medical bills!

I would say he could do a better job as a full-time Vieira look-a-like but as this role would inevitably involve some form of contact with a football I imagine he'd have the same problem.

If Diaby gets a new contract my head will explode. I seriously think that may be too much for me to take on board. Second only to a new deal for Wenger in the list of things to propel me into insanity. :banghead:

Id rest him tonight personally, ahead of Brighton and Liverpool, and i think Wenger will.

With no Arteta or Coq our options are fairly limited. Probably end up putting Jack back there which isn't ideal.
