As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Why on earth would Benny and Di want to come to Arsenal
No No No! Mate the Beeb had a typo...We ARE trying to sign Benny and Di
That's Benny and Diana from Crossroads.
... And if we do sign them they'll also throw in the ginger kid with the wheelchair - as a defensive mid-fielder.
I take it you're referring to Sandy? Bit on the slight side but once we beef him up a bit he could do a job for us
ps Miss Diane always did it for me in the 70s
AGREE, I had a boyhood crush on this lady too. A leather clad Susie Quattro was another one but sadly that was a very long time ago when I was still optimistic about Arsenal winning something , anything.
Apparently Wenger in his post match interview last night also made a point of stating that 'we would not be signing Suarez'...which is a crafty way of then being able to say that the Transfer Window begins from 'now' and thus - being able to say we are trying to sign Benny & Diane. what a crafty fecker!

A crafty fecker or a lying, arrogant and smug *word censored*.. I know which one I'm leaning towards!!
Wanger obviously doesn't play poker at all, saying you hold on to your cards.....like fuck you senile inept muppet!! If you have a good bank roll in poker you can bully your way into winning quite a few pots early on as everyone else is worried about you. But you blew that by dithering, just like you dither about everything you c.unt.
No chance Benzema is coming to us. Madrid play with 1 front man with Ronaldo in a free role. If they get rid of Benzema then they have no first choice strikers.
I suppose you could argue Ronaldo could go up top with Bale roaming if he goes. I don't see it though.

It might not take as much as £10m my friend
LATEST GOSSIP
Arsenal's search for midfield reinforcements may move on to Sporting Lisbon winger Diego Capel according to the Daily Express.
Liverpool reportedly had a £3m offer turned down for the 26-year-old earlier this summer, but the Portuguese club may be willing to do business at double that price.

In the context of needing a quality DM, a quality striker, julio cesar for the goals and maybe a few defenders, I would suggest that di maria would not be a phenomenal signing - we have far far more important issues than a winger which is probably why cuntbag will sign one
^^ THIS
He's always been fascinated by signing wide midfield players and its the one position where he'll sign more players despite the fact there's absolutely no need. It must be the single area of the field where we don't need reinforcements and yet here we are linked with Di Maria and Capel today.
Fuck me it has been obvious to the entire world since the day we flogged RvP that we need a striker. If we didn't sign another player then £50m for a top class striker is the one area that would make a significant difference. Moving on from there the priorities have been a deep lying midfielder and a centre half who can compete on the physical side of the English PL. Finally a decent fucking keeper to wake up Chesney.
But we haven't worked in football for 30 years so we don't see that what we really need is a winger without any PL experience...
