Joe Cole is a greedy chav *word censored*!!!!!

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

What makes this more likely is the point about trying to appease fans that want as many English players as possible in the team.

The Mirror claims that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger "believes he already has enough midfielders of the same style," and therefore does not need out-of-contract Cole.

I agree, goalkeeper and a CB first please ....

If, and that is a big if, this is true than it bears out what I have been saying for a long time.....we have too many joe cole type of players already 8) However as the old saying goes....dont listen to what wenger says but instead just what he does (or doesnt do  :banghead: )
What ever he does or doesn't do he better not leave it till August 31st.
I for one will not be happy ....... :banghead:

Until it says official , do not believe a thing.
true, but in all fairness, this is goal actually reporting we have signed cole, not that we are 'after' someone. i think thats taking a bigger leap.

You are not taking into consideration that one or more of them may be about to leave and Cole could be a replacement not an addition..

Replacing cesc with joe cole would, in my opinion anyway, be akin to replacing PV4 with denilson or Bergkamp with bedtner.....it just cannot be done without major upheaval

Not necessarily Cesc although knowing Wenger that would be most likely, i'd be very surprised if Wenger wasn't getting a bit sick of AA. Not just the fact that like Wenger he can't keep his mouth shut but also that as a player he goes from the sublime to the ridiculous and a bit too often the ridiculous..Then there is Theo, i'm sure his days are numbered.

Joe Cole is a poor mans Fabregas. He can do what he does very well, but he can't replace Cesc. I hope AW is not leaning into that train of thought.

AA is a good "second" striker but that's as good as it gets, and Theo might be worth a punt upfront....playing wide from the left.....c'mon AW.

If he gets pissed off with arshavins public comments can you imagine how pissed off he must get when he reads dithering hill-woods tripe ?
As a player with pure talent I feel that arshavin is 2nd only to the great Dennis Bergkamp in the last 30 years but I do agree that last season he didnt appear committed enough on occasions. There are mitigating factors to a point (wrong position, shite team-mates) but at the end of the day the guy simply has to work harder to justify his income although I still hope we dont sell him.

Theo will not be sold this summer.....nor next summer....nor the summer after that so we are stuck with him  Wenger doesnt do mistakes but if he did they would be the biggest fcuk ups in the world
