Fuck it Im starting a transfer Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

At least when we've mocked before there has been one half credible story about us being linked with a player. Last time we were in the shit in the battle for 4th, Arshavin joined, but there's not a sniff of a major signing this time round.

Depressing really. Without any shadow of doubt this is the worst Arsenal side since 1995, but judging by Hill-Wood's soundbites the club have as good as surrendered 4th place now.

For the first time I find myself questioning whether the Self Harmer really has got handcuffs on when it comes to transfers, because the side is so poor now in just about every area of the field, that I simply find it hard to understand that even a mildly intelligent man couldn't spot such obvious weaknesses.
But SteveO, why did he sign his last contract at the speed of light a season or so ago, the squad was still shit then, not as bad as this one but still shit.
I wish I knew Frank. Its still an easy option for £6m a year isn't it. The Chairman of the club publically admits that it isn't a disaster not to qualify for the CL and he has the total freedom to run the club how he wants. If the pressure from above has been lifted i.e. don't worry Arsene if we finish 5th or 6th, then I would imagine it is a nice comfortable life

26 days and nothing apart from a loan signing.

What a joke our once great club has turned in to.

A shit load of cash in the bank that they will not spend to strengthen a team that badly needs strengthening. Absolutely sick of it at this stage.

Even if he does go and sign someone  in the next few days - it will be 26 odd days too late :banghead:

Wenger has now called for a rule preventing premier league clubs loaning players over the age of 21 which is of course a reaction to the scum have had borrowing a mercenary togolese *word censored* Has it escaped the senile old *word censored* attention that we have loaned benyoun from the chavs ? Really he is getting more embarassing by the day

Exactly what I thought and here we are again with another of Lord Wenger's lectures on the wellbeing of football at large. Whether its financial fairplay, TV rights, the loan system, he's first to impress his so-called 'intelligent' views on everyone. I just wish he'd sort he's own problems out

Tons of speculation on Eden Hazard being close to coming to Arsenal.

Bunch of rumors about Hazard:

Eden at the Emirates for the loss to United:
http://arsenalkorner.com/2012/01/26/haz ... available/

Apparently Wenger is ready to offer $25 mil plus Walcott and Rosicky:
http://footy-bible.co.uk/arsenal-transf ... for-hazard

Deal may be done in 48 hours???
http://arsenalkorner.com/2012/01/26/haz ... -48-hours/

Probably just a bunch of BS, but they are pretty solid rumors.[/url]

Bit of a contradiction there buddy

Anyway I could see wenger offering someone like rosicky in a swap deal but there is no way in hell he would offer walnut in part exchange and nor should he - we may all know how shit feo is but surprisingly many others dont so he has a good market value
