As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
That email from the club is a disgrace, and I think everyone should be able to agree on that regardless of how you feel about Wenger.
What next, getting kicked out for shouting or booing a player?
Being banned for commenting negatively on a certain player in a match report?
Being kicked out for not cheering loudly enough when we score a goal or joining in the One Arsene Wenger chant?
The people currently in charge are a disgrace to the history of Arsenal. Hopefully next year they'll all desert like rats from a sinking ship when attendances start falling below 50,000 (Stoke and Sunderland on have been on general sale for the past fortnight and STILL have not sold out - just see how bad it gets next season.)

I did mention before and have seen it in mention in the thread that AFC need to be very careful. Potentially there's a PR disaster waiting for them that will only fuel and give more support to AFCnotPLC.
Personally I think that email should be put up on the official AFCnotPLC site for all to link and share to spread the word.
Think the media would have a field day just on the email response alone.
The email needs to be forwarded to the media. They'll love a bit of bully-boy tactics from the club. I can see them going along the lines of: "Arsenal try to silence fan protests." We could really lay it on thick with comments on how much it costs to go, how little they care about us, sell all the better players, millions in the bank, games not selling out and so on and so on.
For the club to do this leaves them open to ridicule. Especially after price increases, such a shit start and the sale of Cesc and the other one.
Please follow the suggestions above and publish the e-mail on the Facebook site and Twitter. It is only fair that we publicise the reason for the Banner probably not going up on Sunday. This shows the valid reasons we have. It also doesn't cast the Club in the best light. Please message John Cross / TalkSport etc.
I have meetings all day today so won't be around to cover off these actions.

That email is a fucking disgrace. It isnt a club banner and doesnt purport to be one. As a result it shouldnt matter a fuck if the club "fully support" the manager and therefore dont agree witht he sentiment, it isnt their opinion that you're expressing, its your own.
I can only echo what others have said, send the email to the FSF and ask them for clarification on your legal position over the banner. Its like the police/ government telling protesters they cant have anti-government banners when protesting about student fees etc because they support the government. Its only football fans who get treated like this and it is by no means confined to Arsenal, the whole sport is a fucking joke
