SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

OMG......just when you thought it couldn't get any worse.......evidently, Bendtner tweeted this on Friday night.....

‘Soon back in the game!’ accompanied by a link to a picture on Instagram of Arsenal kit bearing his number 52.

So our busy summer could be Sanogo, couldn'twaittogo, and couldn'tbearsedtogo!!

What a fucking shambles

Oh, and Man Utd are in for Di Maria too supposedly, so that's us totally out of the running!! :banghead: :banghead:

Pod's starting which isn't something you do when a player is meant to be leaving. Anyhow I wonder what the plenty of fish comment was referring to Higuain? Did Higgy chose Napoli over us? Is he referring to Suarez and Madrid?

I think Higuian wanted CL football and to start every week as he's got a fair bit of competition up front for Argentina.
I think also that RM preferred Napoli as they did the deal at RM's asking price and quickly.
Suarez imho used Arsenal's bid to entice RM and I'd not be surprised if he goes there. Benzema apparently doesn't fancy leaving RM so that may be another blind alley for us

We just need to give up on the window completely now.

Stop thinking Di Maria

Start thinking Williams and Flamini

Podolski to S04? Heldt and Wenger comment

Schalke manager Horst Heldt has spoken before the match, the Royal Blues in Hanover at the rumors of a possible transfer of Lukas Podolski to Schalke. "We have also noticed that he has not played the first two official games," Heldt indicated an interest in principle, also told Sky but "I do not know if Luke wants to leave the club if Arsenal wants Luke goes. all that you need to ask Luke or even Arsenal. "

The answer came promptly from London, where Arsene Wenger after 3-1 clearly positioned at Fulham with two Podolski gates. "Yes," the Frenchman said after the game clearly on the question of whether Podolski will continue to play for Arsenal. "There is no interest from another club. Everyone on the team loves Podolski. He is important for us. I want to keep him," said Wenger.
