Ozil@ plan was to see out his contract before joining his mate Erdoghan at the new Turkish champions and get champions league football to end his career.
We were stupid enough to give him the deal and he would be stupid to let it go .
However as the new season has started Başakşehir last years winners are currently bottom of the league with 1 point from 4 games, perhaps if they see him as their answer they hasd better get their skates on.

We haven't had the last minute trolley dash for a while and as Arteta himself joined the club during the last desperate dash, he probably feels some affinity towards it and wants to do one himself. If all this latest news is true, fuck knows what's been happening and where we go now.

It will be the same old rusty trolley with creaky wobbly wheels - just like some half-crocked has-been that we'll buy in the bargain basement or take on loan for outlandish wages....

Surely Arteta was given assurances that the club would back him in the transfer market/s. And now it looks like they (KroenkeCUNTY and Eat-Shit-while-he smiles Jnr CUNTY) have lied to him. Because I just don't see how he would leave Man $hitty to join us without 'knowing' he would be supported financially.

Tim Paytom of AST doing his best defence of the club - "Those saying Arsenal don’t spend money. They certainly do. The wage bill is presently about £225m. Totally unsustainable in middle of a pandemic when playing behind closed doors and broadcast deals are being part refunded"

Imagine having that wing wearing leech as our owner but want to defend the club, fucking pathetic.
That statement alone deserves abuse on SM.
Just has a quick look at his Twitter. :banghead:

Can't believe there are people who think like him
If he was the exception I'd say fair enough, but I've lost count of the amount of pricks who use words like 'spoiled' and 'entitled' to describe fans who are pissed off with the current state of the club. People like this think supporting the club is to blindly follow and accept whatever shit the club hands your way, which is exactly what Kroenke and co. are relying on. These people would think supporting an alcoholic relative would be to buy them some cans  I still maintain that any true supporter is pissed off today, not hiding behind excuses for the clubs incompetence.

Brilliantly put - I was gonna highlight some parts of it but I agree with every single word so no need to highlight any of it 8)

Am wondering now how wise arteta's policy of alienating the likes of guendouzi has been :rubchin: No Aouar, probably no partey, and midfield options of xhaka, ceballos and elneny will not scare any team in the league, and if he gets a long term injury to any one of those 3, will he then have to go back and try and placate a kid that he has treated shockingly in my opinion ? Will allowing torreira to leave without a replacement being signed now look like absolute stupidity ?

If it's a choice between seeing him or Elneny, I'll take him.

Granted, and if it is a choice between him and xhaka I would pick jorginho every day of the week, but he would be a massive, massive comedown from Aouar and partey. It should also be said that he isnt at all the same type of player as Aouar who is more attacking and creative, and he isnt the same type of CDM as partey - why would he be a back up option even ?? :? :?

When are we gonna realise that if our rivals are discarding a player that isnt good enough for them, then he shouldnt be viewed as good enough for us ? Only one cock in the history (yes that is the french cock) would sell a player to a rival knowing that it would strengthen them, and every player we have signed from the chavs and manure have been an absolute disaster

Before anyone dares to suggest otherwise, the chavs are our rivals - there are only 2 clubs in the whole league that are not our rivals (victims and citeeh), and one of them could be our rivals very soon if they dont get back on track very soon. Every other team in the league can beat us, and it is every bit as possible that we could be in a relegation fight, as it is that we could be in a top 4 battle. Given our recent years penny pinching transfer market form, it is also very possible thatsmaller clubs can buy our intended targets right out from under our noses

Relegation fight? FFS Augie, that’s bullshit and you know it.
You’ ve gone into an inexplicable Anti-Arteta overdrive, your posts are becoming more and more ridiculous by the day.
You should consider taking a few weeks off lad. See how results are going and hopefully come back more positive and rational.

Congratulations to Kroenke and our wonderful scouting team

A net spend of about 7m approaching the window closing, and in Jorginho we've managed to find the only CDM in the league slower and more brain dead than the Swiss dollop. If you think that arsewipe Xhaka slows down the play, wait till this c.unt rocks up making it look like the Charles Charlie Charles era of smoking a pipe while playing. Will get about 15 yellows too - an absolute moronic waste of space

The Chavs will be in full banter mode when we play them "hello, hello Chelsea rejects ,Chelsea rejects".They wouldn't be wrong.

You would think so, wouldn't you? But who the fuck knows what's been going on. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Arteta was given the line about having funds available when he took the job and probably Aubameyang when he extended his contract but now it's come to put the money on the table, the owner and the board are not that enthusiastic about it. I hope there is some strategy about getting in other targets but to have a window from August-October and then end up 24 hours away from it ending with the same fucking problems as before, seems 100 per cent in line with Kroenke's ownership ambitions.

We've gone from taking Fergie's cast offs to being Roman's bitch. If having that helmet headed c.unt wasn't a bridge too far, along came Sideshow Bob....and now this prick?

What a joke

7m net spend plus no doubt some more money coming in for outgoing loans. Stuck with this c.unt forever arent we?
