Lads stop panicing over the failed Aouar and partey deals ........... help is on the way

https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football ... bed-aouar/

If it's a choice between seeing him or Elneny, I'll take him.

Granted, and if it is a choice between him and xhaka I would pick jorginho every day of the week, but he would be a massive, massive comedown from Aouar and partey. It should also be said that he isnt at all the same type of player as Aouar who is more attacking and creative, and he isnt the same type of CDM as partey - why would he be a back up option even ?? :? :?

When are we gonna realise that if our rivals are discarding a player that isnt good enough for them, then he shouldnt be viewed as good enough for us ? Only one cock in the history (yes that is the french cock) would sell a player to a rival knowing that it would strengthen them, and every player we have signed from the chavs and manure have been an absolute disaster

Before anyone dares to suggest otherwise, the chavs are our rivals - there are only 2 clubs in the whole league that are not our rivals (victims and citeeh), and one of them could be our rivals very soon if they dont get back on track very soon. Every other team in the league can beat us, and it is every bit as possible that we could be in a relegation fight, as it is that we could be in a top 4 battle. Given our recent years penny pinching transfer market form, it is also very possible thatsmaller clubs can buy our intended targets right out from under our noses
Relegation fight? FFS Augie, that’s bullshit and you know it.
You’ ve gone into an inexplicable Anti-Arteta overdrive, your posts are becoming more and more ridiculous by the day.
You should consider taking a few weeks off lad. See how results are going and hopefully come back more positive and rational.

The transfer window fcuk ups have zero to do with arteta

The alienating players who might now need to be reintegrated into the squad is 100% down to arteta

For long periods of last season we were closer (pts wise) to the teams at the bottom than we were the teams at the top, and that is a fact that you cant deny. Calling that a relegation battle is a slight exaggeration I agree, but would you be 100% sure that wouldnt happen again ? With these players ? I know that I wouldnt ever be totally confident in them

I see one thing (out of 3 points I made) that I have had a pop at arteta, so lets not make this a pro or into arteta argument

I never saw this anti Arteta , he has clearly identified his targets and the board hasn't backed him.We still have gazidus and wenger hangovers as we can't shift our deadwood who have been ridiculously overpaid and in these covid times teams will lowball us to pay firctheir salary. If we had a remotely interested football board they would back the manager as I think he has earnt it to see what he can do.

Clutching at very big staws here , I remember when we lost out on Cottee and was gutted only to see a young Merson come through and shine maybe the same may happen for Smithe-Rowe.

RMC Sport claim #Arsenal made a final bid of £32.6m plus add-ons & Matteo Guendouzi but it was rejected by Lyon. https://t.co/kmjRowJuoE

surely surely that cannot be ture, they said no interest in douzi at the start yet we go back with a low ball offer for him and douzi included. surely we are not that dumb.

this is a shocking state of affairs, we've sold our best GK and brought in a promising centre back but spunked 25m plus on cedric and mari who are utter shite.

someone has put the aouar thing in abit of perspective, about how worked up we are getting over aplayer most of us probbaly knew very little about, but thats beside the point. midlfield is clearly gash yet weve done nothing to change it other then sending our best centre midlfielder on loan.

but then thats not complete yet, maybe we could stop it and keep him and actually play him properly.

im in a state of do disbelief at whats happening or not, and just hope something is and its not called facking jorginho or Ramsey back on loan.

artetas confidence surely means theres a twist yet and i cannot believe auba would have signed with no assurances, but wtf are we doing it leaving it so late if there is. this is levyesque low class tactics, and yet the scum are done and dusted strengthening key areas, with admittedly very risky signings who may fail, yet have no money and a huge debt. just cant get my head round it all.

bet we lose today or a crap draw and that will compound things.

And under this ownership/board management, we have seen several high profile players assured that incoming signings were on the way only to get totally fcuked off when they discover that they were fed a line of shite by people whose ambitions begin and end with finances not trophies

We have made the guy unsellable because we have banished him and made him out to be some sort of bad boy - like it or not he is a million times better than xhaka and elneny, and he has been cast aside whilst we have been force fed those 2 c.unts :censored: :censored: :cussing: :cussing:

I agree, but being better than those two is a fairly low bar

That’s why we must surely have a back up plan after missing out on the two lads, there are thousands of midfielders out there who would be an improvement on what we’ve currently got, it would almost be impossible to buy a player who’d make our central midfield any more fucking drab that’s for sure.

Augie, Guendozi is shite, why waste time and effort pandering to a brat?
Ozil? Should he be re-integrated?
What you!re suggesting is exactly what finally finished Emery.
They’re bad eggs and “re-integrating” them would only undermine Artetas authority.
I’m sure Guendozi had ample opportunity to apologise, but chose not to.
And as I said, he is absolute Shite, he contributes fuck all.
And I will pre-empt a Xhaka does fuck all response, by saying again, that may be so, but he has shown Arteta that he is on his side and will do his albeit limited best.
As far as I’m aware we havent signed Joginho yet, so lets see what actually transpires before the window shuts.

Augster I saw this stat earlier -
16 players registered more assists in Ligue 1 than Houssem Aouar last season.

37 players created more chances from open play than Aouar.

54 players scored more goals (excluding penalties).

Now that’s noT to that he’s shite but there’s a multitude of players out there that could make us better centrally now we’ve missed out on him, let’s home we’ve a fucking plan!

Arteta says he's confident that "we know exactly what we want to do and we're trying our best to finalise the deals we want"

Joe Cole’s not coming :barscarf:
