the rest of this season will hurt people like you the most. prepare for a hurricane of shite :(
Well, I really hope so! But then again, I have gotten my hopes up and finally crashing down too many times to be really hoping too much now. As much I liked to believe that things might finally turn for better now but I don't believe that anymore so long as wenker is still around. Özil signing was absolutely fantastic but in the end, one man can't make the difference. If that happens though, it would be very positive surprise.
So bale didn't make the difference at the spuds, Wrighty then Bergkamp and then Henry to us, pele to brazil, maradonna to argentina, zidane to france, Charlton to Oireland (as it's topical) , ronaldo to madrid, messi to barcelona.....

Suppose your right, one man can't make a difference to a team but here's hoping :barscarf:
Yeah, good examples there mate, but I honestly I think that good team makes it possible for individuals to shine.

With the unbalanced squad we've got AW needs to be creative with his tactics. Standby for hell freezing over.

I wonder why its a little quiet on the Wenger thread :D .
I wouldn't get too much food for the bbq, after Wengers made you eat your words and a bit of humble pie, no one will be hungry :D

Decent start, opening day debacle aside but with a threadbare injury prone squad and champions league football about to begin, that's 2 games a week that pretty much the same 11 will have to play. A recipe for disaster. Give it 6 months and then judge it, doing so now proves nothing.

Not judge him in May anymore, no? Ok to judge after a couple of wins again, yep?

Fukin goldfish brains (or no brains) just forget all the shit after a few wins.
Just imagine what we could have achieved had Wenger used the resources available to him and strengthened every year with real quality years ago instead of pissing it away on his "project" (which now lies in tatters)

Nothing has changed - a lucky escape against a spirited Macken team papers over the cracks yet again. we could quite easily have lost yesterday.
CL starts next week and we will have Akpom, Gnarby, Myachi as game changers to bring on.

you think a squad of 14 players can actually achieve a good season? we'll get fucked by december when playing all the top sides and fixture congestion builds up. do you really think a couple of victories over poor sides is anything new? :?

really, we're Arsenal ffs

afcforever didn't mention 14 players, so where have you plucked that number from? :?

Even if I'm being ultra harsh, and rule out Chamberlain, Podolski and Diaby for the season; don't count any strikers other than Giroud, ignore the new keeper (Viviano), and don't consider young players like Frimpong, Gnarby, Zalalem, etc. then I still count 18 players and I'm not convinced ruling out Podolski, Viviano and Chamberlain is even valid :?

So that leaves me: Chesney, Fabianksi; Jenkinson, Sagna, Monreal, Gibbs, Vermaelen, Koscielny, Mertesacker; Arteta, Flamini, Ramsey, Wilshere; Cazorla, Ozil, Theo, Rosicky; Giroud.

I give up. It'll be much simpler if you just tell me which 14 you count - or more interestingly, which players you've discounted! :proudtosay:

Wouldn't worry about miserable doomsayer gooners, when a hardcore spud says we have a chance of winning the title with a bit of luck you sit up and take notice. Yeah wenger can be accused of mismanaging the club for a number of years but right now we have just beaten the spuds and top of the league, enjoy it.
