http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b0 ... Episode_8/
The opening act is Lou Reed WITH Metallica - feckin' KERRRRRRAAAAANNNGGG!

..Then the act immediately after them is a Reggae Act - a chick called called Hollie Kook (I think) the backing band /music are okay(ISH) But she is

Wow, Lou Reed and Metallica ........ serious jamming gig that. Remember seeing Lou Reed backing U2 years back , totally blew them away.
Blast from the past. Was at 'The Sisters of Mercy' gig last night, really enjoyed it, even dug me old Winkle pickers out for it! Something weird about
seeing fourty year plus men in white make up though

So much smoke and fog you could hardly make out Eldrich but he still has the voice. Right, off to play 'Dominion ' to sooth the hangover.

This is like a how white people couldn't dance to black music and the clothes!!!!

- Some real BAAAAAD choices...and that's the audience members!
I scanned through this and 2 bits worth a watch
22mins = Chaka Khan - she's miming - but maaaan thhose thighs in long black boots!
and then there's grace jones on 26 mins - dressed like a cross between a QPR player and a member of the KKK - Yup! THAT Bad!

Went to see Status Quo at the echo arena. First time I've seen them and thoroughly enjoyed it. The opening riff to "whatever you want" is one of the best guitar intros ever.
They were ably supported by Kim Wilde "kid in america" still sounds great and Roy Wood of Wizzard and The Move fame. Is there a greater christmas song than "I wish it could be christmas every day". Seeing him do it live is just a truly magical moment.

Talking of Paul Weller there's a Beautiful version of Etta Jame's "Don't Go To Strangers" by him, Amy Winehouse and Jools Holland on this prog....it's all crimbo stuff...but if you scoot along to
1' 40" and 25(ish) seconds ...well worth a listen....
