Gervinho....

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Give the guy a break - he managed to last about an hour on Saturday before he fell over his own feet in possession completely unchallenged

Every fan has players who they want to see play less or not at all, but it genuinely beggars belief that this guy makes a living (and a handsome one at that) from playing football. I cannot see what argument there possibly is for playing him at all.
It's because he 'saved the club from dizzy prices' and was 'the best player at the ACF' - I'm surprised you didn't know that. :?

Totally agree with this, but with alot of others also, the majority should be boo'ed, jeered and have shit and piss thrown over them!
You know what to do, Frank! I feel (and smell) that our time is coming closer.

With the injuries mounting up and no Poldi or Jack in the team for tomorrow anybody think we will see the return of the Klingon headed one to the first team?

Its been a while since he has been allowed to grace us with his presence in the first team so just a small reminder of what he has to "offer"

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miVGVQcyTgc

These are considered his best moments in an Arsenal jersey

Saw this on Arsenal.com today about Gervinho. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

“To be honest he is not clinical however when he is completely relaxed he is quite good. He rushes his finishing because when he arrives in front of the goal he wants to get rid of the ball. Arsene Wenger

Now there's a vote of confidence.

Could this thread be replicated from 1 to 11, starting with the goalkeepers through the defence , to midfield then to the class we have in attack ? All chosen by the dictator ....

He scored at Swansea when their entire defence went AWOL looking for late equaliser, then despite scoring one and setting up two his performance Saturday at home to a woeful Reading side was at times comical. The crowd even gave him a standing ovation which shows how closely they must've been watching his performance.

I hope his recent goals will drum up some interest in him and we can recover some of the money we have wasted on the shower of shite.
