If Leicester wins the lgd Le Fraud will say: there you are, it can be done without spending 250 mil.As long as you stick to your principals.

I don't believe that wenger will ever come out and say exactly what he thinks of his team after that performance. This time next week we could be top by one point...it won't happen because as souness points out, none of the player have the bollocks for a fight to a title they are good enough to win. We missed BFG at the back. We don't have a player aware enough or savvy enough on the pitch to make decisions to change the way we play for example, the sun was in de gea's eyes in that 2nd half just launch it in girouds direction and pick off any loose balls, simple things like that. Ozil was again our best player and yet will no doubt get slaughtered despite him doing everything he could do to get the players around him moving. Don't know if carzola or wilshere are close to returning but they need to be rushed back. If anything at least they have the bollocks for a fight.

Not just on the field that #afc lack leaders. Board-room too. Nobody has the power, personality or willingness to call Wenger to account.

and I tweeted to him.

@henrywinter well said Henry, had asked @paddybarclay about this, the press are not going to let Wenger off the hook this time. Keep it up.
Also

Wenger's buying strategy has to come under intensified scrutiny. Not only positionally (need striker etc) but characters. #afc lack leaders.

Henry Winter ‏@henrywinter 1h1 hour ago
Much right about #afc - stadium, support, some very good players etc - but the culture of being content with 2nd/3rd/4th needs confronting.

The one about nobody at the club holding Wenger to account stings, coming from someone like Winter who is usually one of the better sports journalists out there.

Having said that, we've been in similar situations like this before. Horrible abject performances, league/CL gone and the press criticise him, he pulls out a few back to back wins and all is right in the world.

All well and good saying it now, but this is the man who talked about "Wenger's greatest ever achievement" when we finished 4th and who regularly bums him up when we qualify from the Group stage of the CL every season. Reminds me of Piers Morgan - he'll soon be drinking from Wenger's cup again when we win a few matches when the pressure is off

It must be when he gets contract extensions and probably more money

Couple of punches thrown. But the vociferous nature of the argument is what got me, it really is a bad day for a lot of fans that were still on the edge with Wenger. His myopic comments after the game only make it worse for him.
Well this is by far the saddest thing surrounding AFC today.

Disgusting.

Violence over football - really? I take my family to matches and would be sickened to see this type of thing.

Any "Arsenal fan" who throws punches - let alone to a fellow Arsenal fan (or another human being over a game of footie) - has done far worse today than any player performance or AW decision.

Get a ruddy grip!

Shit or bust now chaps. 442 at home with Welbeck and Giroud up front. Put Ramsey And Wally on the bench. BFG now has to play with Kos as that is clearly the best pairing we have. Campbell on the wing with Alexis on the other. Coq and Ozil in midfield. If we're going out of the title race let's at least do it having a go. If we have to win every game 5-4 then so be it! Bored of the status quo now. Either we finish 1st or AW please resign.

I don't get the excitement over what the likes of Henry Winter think as people like him are utter cowards when it comes to Wenger. They will criticise him today because it is fashionable, but will say nothing when Wenger comes out with his shite in every press conference, or what about the anger from the journalists over the banner held up against Wenger last season. We have had over a decade of examples of Wenger's incompetence so at this stage, a comment here and there about Wenger's shortcomings is nothing more than poor journalism.

Absolutely 100% spot on mate. Wait till its September and we're slaying some sorry wankers like Watford or West Brom and in the Group stage of the boring shitathon again. They'll be lauding his consistency and even resorting to the "be careful what you wish for" shit
