Don't be depressed just put on your AW rose tints from Specsavers
4 months is end of April. Great he'll be back for the CL and FA Cup finals.

So lets see,How much [we will miss him] is difficult to say, the only thing we can say for sure is that we will miss him of course. We have to find a way to compensate for the fact he will not be on the pitch, and give everybody a bit more. I am sure we can deal with it. When he comes back he can help us to get over the line in the final months.

I am truly worried now. The last few months have been a complete nightmare and today’s news just caps off a really shitty football year. I've been racking my brain trying to figure out where we go from here but I'm completely fucked for a clue. So I thought you guys might be able to help me out but it seems most are as worried or resigned to the inadequate's we already have and AW's cryptic clues as to where he thinks we go from here.
One thing that really does worry me.
We may not see Fabregas again in an Arsenal shirt. As has been touched on previously. We were already in a fight for 4th place and CL qualification. If we don't make it to 4th now I can see Fabregas going in the summer as next season is the last before 2010 World Cup. I doubt he is going to want to play UEFA Cup or possibly no European football (If we don't make 5th) to cement his place in the Spanish team. He started nearly always on the bench in the Euro's. He'll want to be in the CL pressing for an automatic place in their line up so it's a very real possibility he'll be off.
I'm really looking forward to Christmas Day with my kids but am dreading Boxing Day and the Villa game. It's like watching a wildlife programme when the lioness gets the gazel, you don't want to watch but are still strangely drawn to the screen.
Cripes.

sorry but i think really it was useless tackle and probably fabregas reaction proved...i saw him angry for himself rather than opponent or unfortune...times was up...wrong decision at wrong time, happens to anyoneBiggest loads of bollocks I've heard on here for a LONG time - now we don't want our players making tackles incase they get injured. You tit.

Even with Cesc out a defensive midfielder remains my priority.
Ramsey/Wilshere/Diaby/Denilson.
Not world beaters yet, but not awful either.
Key thing is it means Denilson or Diaby get to pay in their natural central midfield creative position.
No more exscuses, we get to see what they are really made of.
Definately.QuartzGooner wrote: Even with Cesc out a defensive midfielder remains my priority
Cesc is a special talent, but I still think we'll score goals without him. The MAJOR problem is the defensive side of our game, and a holding midfielder HAS to be the priority.
Central defence is ok as long as Djourou and Gallas work on their partnership. Of course, that depends on Gallas.. is he staying or not? if he leaves in january, then a new centre back MUST be signed, too.
A winger and a 'keeper would be nice, but at the moment they would almost represent luxury signings.
