This says it all..........

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Bendtner had a valid reason for going out and getting pissed??

What a load of shit!!
This kind of behaviour typifies the kind of attitude the young guys in football have, and it's not helped by Wenger going in the papers and on TV every day saying how fantastic they are and it doesn't help that Arsenal pay their young players way over what they are worth.
We've just been knocked out of two semi finals in a short space of time and he is stupid enough to do what he did. These guys HAVE to realise the privileged position they are in and that they have a responsibility that goes with it. If Bendtner wants to piss it up after losing our biggest match in 3 years then fine, but to me, that shows that you don't really have what it takes to be the best. He is probably the worst one at the club for telling us how good he is and that he's already 'made it'. What a shame more of them can't behave like Bergkamp or Henry off the pitch.

Radford is sorry but this is an unbelieveable post. he says for fucksake get a life and stop being such a puritan. so gallas smokes BIG FUCKING DEAL, so bendtner went out on the lash BIG FUCKING DEAL. it fucking gets on his tits when the smallest thing players do is blown way way out of proportion.

further to this Radford would like to state that they are just football players. they are not monks, role models or leaders of the free world. they are just people who play football for a living.

Radford is shaking his head yet again at another post that cannot detach football from real life.

he would like to ask the forum a question.....

why is it ok for rock stars to lead a life of sin but a footballer needs to be reach the highest levels of morality laid down but a corrupt public. are they not both in a so called privilege position. do kids only look up to footballers and not rock stars?

please tell Radford

I don't want to get into an argument mate but - here goes:-

1. Arsenal players are professional sportsmen.
2. They are paid millions of pounds each year.
3. Our tickets cost a fecking fortune to pay those millions.
4. Most of them have won nothing yet.
5. The season isn't over - we play Chelsea on Sunday.
6. Rock stars don't need to be superfit.
7. If I want to see Razorlight (or whoever) live it costs about £50.
8. They will put on a show and I won't have to sit in the freezing cold.
9. My yearly attendance at Arsenal costs me over £2,000 per year.
10. When my son starts coming with me, that will be nearly doubled.
11. Loyaltly - how long did Hleb / Flamini hang around.
12. Could you or I get into Boujis with trainers on?
13. If you dropped your strides outside Boujis, would a bouncer help you into a waiting limo?
14. I can't think of anymore.

g88ner agrees with Radford.

These things happen; he's a young lad and I'm sure he'll learn from it.

And for N7 to "blame Wenger" is beyond belief... is there anything this French bloke isn't guilty of at the moment??

Bringing Swine flu to Britain, perhaps?

Chippy,

Maybe the reason Tom hasn't been on here so often is that he forgets his password. After all, he has admitted to being a bit of a scatter-brain!

Sorry mate - first band I thought of.

Was gonna put Oasis but they're a pair of Manc tossers. And tickets to see them cost a pissing fortune.

And I have it on good authority that Liam Gallagher pulled Nickyboy's strides down just as he was stepping out of Boujis, shouting "Cop that ya southern bastard".

People talk like he's been seen out and about celebrating. He obviously got smashed and was drowning his sorrows, at least it shows he cares. I wouldn't be surprised if a few others went home drinking water but smiling lauging and having dancing competitions!

The worst thing is that I can see Wenger selling Bendtnet for this while Adebayors lack of effort and 95 offsides per game and Almunias lack of concentration will go unpunished.

Who cares? He's 21 years of age, gutted we went out, and wanted to forget the fact. Plus he's been excellent this season against United in all 3 games, give him a break.

Maybe you should all look at the fact that Fabregas etc went out after the Villareal game and got pissed when we had a semi-final on the saturday.

I don't care who does what or when. If they give 100% on the pitch and show the right attitude that's enough for me.

Bendtner over Adebayor every day of the week.
