The thing is smoothie, that there are so many on here that take the piss out of others on here on a daily basis so there should be no way that you would take it personally. I know you have had a bit of previous on here with some members but which of us hasnt ? I still stick around and argue my point and they do likewise and while they might think the worst of me (as if
) I would like to think that there is a mutual respect between us.
The cliques thing is a bit stupid imo
Yes there are members on here that meet up frequently for pre or post match beers but from reading your previous posts I think you have mates on here that you meet up with too. Is that also a clique ?
These meetings have never been exclusive and from reading different threads on here it seems more and more members are getting to meet up in person and are extending the comradeship that is being built up on here and I for one think that is great

i actually feel for smoothie..
I dont know the history with smoothie and co..But everyone has their off days..I have loads.So can we start to understand that?
If posters here are made to feel unwelcome then one day we wont even have this good message board.

Don't know him from Adam ****'y but I hear from a friend that he is a decent fella. Calling everybody on here prats and wankers is a bit general when, to my knowledge, there are very few on here that have done anything else other than try to extend the hand of friendship.

**** this is a football forum not a knitting one there will be banter amongst members nothing is really meant. Youve had stick for the naked pics did you sulk or cry about it? The term Guslop/spudslop (used instead of *word censored*) etc was used did they moan? The answer is NO.....
Smoothie gets grief but instead of laughing he gets all serious and wants people to tell him how much he would be missed if he left, sorry but thats pathetic if you ask me. We are all adults all give stick all take it when its your turn. Why feel for someone who is easily offended
No one has made anyone feel unwelcome IMO but if you take banter to heart you might as well give up, i get worse banter at work ive no idea where smoothie works but it must be a monastry if he does get a bit of it now and again

Attacking most of the members on here was way ott imo and it might well be connected to his dissatisfaction at the results from the popularity poll that he ran prior to his recent departure. I feel that smoothie appears to have more of a problem with some members on here than they do with him but being militant hardly helps his cause does it ?
In fairness to the guy I have no problems with him, dont think I have pissed him off anywhere along the line, and he came up and introduced himself to me the one time I was in the rocket which was fair enough to me (I am really a poor mixer when it comes to meeting people for the 1st time
). I couldnt really conversate with the guy due to the loudness of the music (wont be going in there again in a hurry
) but he made the effort and it was appreciated all the same
