How angry are you? Now the Oasis thread.

It's all a load of Cannonballs in here! This is the virtual Arsenal pub where you can chat about anything except football. Be warned though, like any pub, the content may not always be suitable for everyone.

Fair point, but I held Oasis up there on a pedastal when I was younger, so I feel a little let down that they haven't gone on to new heights and become bigger than The Beatles, or Jesus, or written an album so fucking good that everyone on Earth put down their weapons forever! 8)

Noel is a legend, and it's a shame that Oasis went the same way as other bands and ran out of ideas :(

It's also a shame that Liam and most of the fans who travel the UK watching them are manc crunts, too.

I think now they are done, you might just realise how great they really are. As much as their later stuff didn't sell, the best songs can be found if you look.

I'm listening to Sunday Morning Call right now. Its as good as owt I've heard lately.

blimey, the stones actually sung lennon/mccartney songs early on, and were there when the beatles sung "all you need is love"

they looked up to them and have forever been in awe of them

Just to add to the Oasis debate, being born in 1980 i had to put up with others in 5th year/6th form always listening to them, i hated them, thought they were ***** and at the time was in to my dance tunes so no surprise there then.

As i got older ie this side of the millennium, i started to realise how good they actually were. Yes their newer stuff was never going to be as big but to say they were ***** is pretty misguided. Their music will be played for years and you can only say that about a handful of groups from the 90's.
