Claim to Fame Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Met loads of players. :barscarf: , told Lee Dixon dicko was his stalker!
As if he wouldn't know that already  :banghead:

My claim to fame is doing the penalty shoot out on the pitch before the Liverpool match in 1993 at Highbury. Alas I didn't get any past Nicky Rust the youth team goalie at the time.

Bob McNab came to our school to give training in the late 70's...
Franksav, you must be from the Dagenham area. What school did you play for?
I was, (sort of) Chadwell Heath mate, (actually I think Dean Coney went to Erkenwald) I went to Warren (when I actually turned up)
Bishop Ward for me (it's now called All Saints).

My brother went there Goose, forgive me if I don't feel like having a bit of a chat, (I'm really pissed off)

PM me, (I probably know you) I was the only Arsenal supporter at my school who went (in the 70's)

After West Ham beat us in the cup final in 1980, the teachers all took the piss out of me in front of everyone in assembly.... (Nothing changes my friend) :banghead:

I was working as a waiter at Wembley during Euro96 for some extra cash. After the Holland game i ended up Serving Terry Venables dad, Fred, and as I vaguely knew him from his pub on Sewardstone Road he took me up to the players bar after the game. He introduced me personally to every player and you can imagine the spirits they were in after smashing the Dutch !! Oh and Jamie Redknapp had Louise with him - I dont think i washed my hand for a week after shaking hers!!!

Yeah but the consolation was when she asked me to meet her in the executive toilets and let me give her a good seeing too while her old man was having a bottle of bud. His old boy was probably in there too that morning but hey never mind!! lol
