Birmingham Away Official Thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Chelsea P:84 GD:??

We are soooo gonna regret the Burnley misses, maybe even the Arshavin misses against Hull... Would be such a shame to lose out on goals, where at one point this season we were looking like scoring 100.

I don't want our title challenge killed off again by the brum, i would take a scrappy one-nil but as i've just said, we might need to start scoring (or stop conceding!)

:-P
:barscarf:
I agree we need to up our goal difference - and soon- but you could go through every game and rue our chances. If only we hadn't let West Ham equalise away, if only we'd put those other chances away against Spurs, if only Cesc hadn't missed a pen against Stoke at home... :blah:

Fact is we scored 55 goals before RVP got injured and about 15 since. The best thing we could have done is brought in a striker on loan and not put AA upfront alone for a few months if we're going down the regrets road...

I think we were allocated 3,000. I was close to going, but I chose to go to Wigan instead because the tickets are cheap & cheerful and we will have already fucked up by then so there will be no pressure.

Massive game on Sat, and us 4,000 travelling gooners have to make ourselves heard. Watching the chavs on Sunday I was disgusted how Blackburn just sat off of them, was not until the 2nd half the crowd got involved, a few tackles went in and they played how they usually do against us. Disgusting turn out from the Chavs only taking 1,000 up there and on Saturday we have to be the 12th man!!!

Come on you rip roaring reds!!!!

Here We Go Again

Post by storrmin571 »

This probably belongs in Birminham thread or small club thread

Got this from Sky sports news website interview with Roger Johnson - reading between the lines they are going to kick lumps out of us again. :banghead:

Birmingham head to Blackburn in midweek looking to bounce back from below-par performances against Everton and Sunderland.

Alex McLeish's side shipped early goals in both of those games, leaving them with just a solitary point to show for their efforts.

Title-chasing Arsenal are then due at St Andrews on Saturday and Johnson believes the Blues should be looking to take something from each of their next two fixtures.

"We go into every game wanting to win it, not looking at drawing," he said.

"Arsenal won't fancy coming to us at the weekend, they have got a few players out, and we are decent at home - we have only lost two games at home."
