100% agree, and i really dont understand why hes england's 3rd choice keeper. in my opinion, hes been the best and most consistent keeper in the league this season. id pay the fee myself to get himSammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:Whilst at the game yesterday G88ner and I commented on the Brum keeper Joe Hart. Now for me, he had no chance with the Nasri goal, but one thing was assured his defence knew he was solid and that they could count on him to make the saves when required. The Brum defence was not the best but having that knowledge of a decent keeper behind you helps.
The Arsenal back four are and were far superior yet cagey, it shows doesnt it that no matter how good your defence are the keeper is key.
For me Joe Hart did what he is paid to do. He made three good quality saves and no matter what we think of NAsri's decision when clean through to not shoot but square it, the imposing frame of Hart was enough to put doubt into Samir's mind....THAT for me was key.
Man City are unlikely to sell Hart to a rival, but for me Hart should be wearing the Arsenal number one jersey and with him there titles can be won.

S.D.H.S. Great post, and possibly I think you are exactly right. hart would be excellent for us, but his is unlikely to be sold to somebody like Arsenal.SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:Whilst at the game yesterday G88ner and I commented on the Brum keeper Joe Hart. Also as much as I think Given was our man, we wouldn't know whether he wouldof wanted to come to AFC or whether we could match the wages he probaly obatins from MANC???
But yr point about Hart giving his defence the feeling that he is in contril is key. The look Campbell, TV have given AL during games this season speaks volumes in my mind.

Listen lads we can complain all we want about almunia but theres nothing that can be done about it till next season(we hope) he is useless but we are stuck with him.You would think that if its obvious to the fans ,pundits media etc that he is not good enough u would think that a guy getting paid x amount milions a year to manage the team might just see that
I dont know but reckon he has scored more OGs than any other gk in the premiership history.Just had a thought
should put him in as a centre forward

Why not?1989 wrote:Joe Hart is absolutely fucking quality and he's only 21 ffs! Heard he was a gooner as well, heard he was in the Arsenal end at Anfield when we lost 4-2 to Pool in the CL few years back.
Citeh would never let us have him though.
Say we came in and put a decent and i mean a decdent bid in (£15m +) and the player stressed he wanted the move....you cant really stop him. He has a value and therefore although Shitty have big bucs business is business. He would come at that price.....and if what 1989 says is true....then why not? A contract these days is not worth the paper its written on....i would be very suprised if a decent bid was rejected if the player wanted the move.

I reckon Citeh may sell him but not to us seeing as we're direct rivals. He's more likely to be sold to one of the midtable clubs.SammyDroppedHisShorts wrote:Why not?1989 wrote:Joe Hart is absolutely fucking quality and he's only 21 ffs!
