Dear Gnuey and IHH,

Why not just have a single MrGnu Thread...where Gnuey can put all his 'threads/idea's / whatever' in one place that can be easily moderated and eassily found by whoever wantsto see what's appertaining with regards Gnuey!!?? .........that way the mods only have to check in One Place, and Gnuey can set the theme/s about whatever he wants, Aaaaand those of us on here who want to can either choose to look further or not...

and if the MODS can't be bothered to log in on a regular basis and liase with fellow MODS then maybe they are not the right people to be MODS

Just your general idea that all mods should agree on a course of action before agreeing a decision, is a little bit shit if you ask me, for the reasons I gave. If THERE WAS a time-sensitive issue, then you're idea doesn't work. That's all.

The thing is, the mods are forum members who "police" the forum in their own time for no financial gain (Mike is a tightwad ), and fit this in around their work etc. So you can never say when there will or wont be a mod "on duty".
The aim is to the best of their ability they follow the guidelines set down by Mike and Kev to keep our forum online. Whether or not we agree with the decisions they make (locking threads, deleting posts etc) is another matter, but ultimately thats the way it is. Yes we can question these decisions, but in a better way than "you are a c**t".

And no I'm not a brown noser and no I dont want to be a mod.

I guess we were due an argument of sorts.

I think IHH's use of the word 'stupid' was a little insensitive and perhaps could have been worded better, but his point was valid. There never is really a 'good time' to start these types of discussions.

Now, this is NOT aimed at ANY particular person on here but I find it quite funny that some of the people constantly moaning about the mods on here are people that came here from the "official" .com forum, where the modding is proper Nazi style.

If anyone isn't happy with the way this place is modded, they can always go back to the .com shithole - it's their free choice. Why be somewhere you aren't happy? Life is too quick for that.

The suggestion that we mods PM each other to see if we agree before PMing members is unworkable. It takes hours to read through all these threads as it is without having to second guess every decision we make.

Personally I do not believe this forum is over modded. Far from it.

Never forget we give up our time to try and help keep this place online.

Remember what it was like when we were shut down by that one particular bastardhole we can't name? It was fucking awful, wasn't it?

We let you go as close to the edge as we can on most occasions but certain things aren't allowed by Mike and Kev, end of. The rules are minimal but they are there.

well ive forgotten all this and i must admit that MY ONLY crime was posting a private message from IHH and calling him names..
BUT as far as im concerned im ok with him now..I was just angry about his pm..THATS ALL.
